Question about DH/guardians
Its really just a problem in WvW where you have to stay with the zerg.
In PvE and PvP DH always have Wings (F2) for a 900 range jump every 26 seconds, we have two teleports in our utilities, both are pretty useful, GS3 is a leap, Sword2 (while pretty awful) is a 600 range teleport.
We have plenty of ways to apply cripple and immobilize too.
If you really want that speed boost, well yeah, Rune of the Traveller
Guardian has no movement trait.
Here are the options:
1, Traveller or Speed runes
2, Pack runes for group play or maybe Centaur
3, Shouts like Retreat! and Save Yourselves!
4, Meditations like Merciful or Judge’s Intervention (teleport)
5, Staff for swiftness symbol
6, 1h Sword for blink or GS for leap.
7, Light’s Judgement for swiftness on trap trigger.
I’m not sure but I think I listed all of them.

Technically you forgot trapper runes giving you super speed but that’s only a PvP thing and the 2 seconds only really matter in combat where super speed is actually doing something noticable so I guess your list is fine.
Got another rune question. I see that scholar is recommended in the guide by Obal, but I am mainly doing solo and meta events. So staying at nearly full health is not really an option. So what would a dps dragonhunter use as an alternative? Rune of strenght?
Flame Legion Runes are decent.
But thats for condi, im looking for ones suitable for power builds.
Flame Legion give power and +7% damage against Burning targets.

I run mainly solo as well. I would recommend Traveler. It’s helped me alot in HoT to run around\past mobs plus get to areas faster. I like my utilities all devoted to traps.
I run scholar when I solo.

Fire a normal shot, throw your spear of justice, hit trueshot.
That three button combo will flat out kill most normal mobs in the game because you stack a LOT of +dmg traits. (3 stacks of might, 10%, 20%, 10%, 13%, 10%, from traits, another 10% from scholar runes and 5% from force sigil, and another couple % from vuln.) No long cooldowns.
Nothing ever gets close enough to attack you, and if it does you just drop your traps and watch them melt.
Staff3 and [Retreat] are enough to help you get around in open world PvE.
