Question to Pro Bunker Guardians
My Stream : http://www.twitch.tv/eSportsKorea see me vs Tarcis, Chaith, Crysis and etc!
I do not know if I am a pro bunker player but that is basically all I play in pvp.
I also tend to run goofy setups like this:

This build was actually an accident because (took the wrong amulet) but it turned out that in many matches the high vit was perfect against hybrids of condi and dps. howver i created it to securely pump out my heal and staff #4. hollowed ground is questionable here but in team fights it easily pulses for around 2k healing in addition to providing a lot of stability to hold points secure stomps. if you go cleric you can not use it though you need the extra condi removal.
more improtantly however against the classes you mentioned it would work with either amulet. With this build I need to be focused by at least two to give me any sweat regardless if they are full dps or full condi. the cleanse + the vit is enough to hold out.
I really like the spike attitude of the build for your team. helps a lot to take down eles or other bunkers that feel to confident.
the shield is needed to give you breathing room or to push others of point. focus works too but I got enough selfish stuff in that build.
Also important: if ou encounter these clases one on one you should ping the map
I normly also prepare a chat massage and if I think it will get tough i just double tap enter.

my question is that are you able to actually keep capped point from rampage warrior or engi? Can you prevent it from becoming neutralized?
Yes, but you’ll blow a lot of cooldowns to do it.

like, how to? I always run away when enemy turned into Rampage and come back when the rampage gone, when I play guardian bunker.

With Shelter, Focus #5, 3 Aegis, 1 block, 2 blinds, 4-5 dodges (sigil or energy) and Renewed Focus if needed you have far than enough to keep Rampage to hurt you much. But like someone else said, you gonna blow out a couple of cooldown. You need to block about 15 attacks during the Rampager and I just gave you enough skill to block 15-20 attacks.
Not really if you are left long enough alone no there is no way to stop it. Even the best bunkers are going to have a point pushed into neutral occassionally.
You can rotate between blocks and blinds. Bunker guard should have access to the following:
- Virtue of Courage
- Shelter
- Retreat
- Focus #4 & #5
- Renewed Focus (if you didn’t take Feel My Wrath)
- Dodges (switch weapons for Sigil of Energy proc)
- Tank a bit with protection from Hold the Line
I suppose in some situations it could be useful to stay on the point. But if you have more team mates around I would recommend kiting him off the point.

Get a team mate
Advice make a engi and try to play some builds, it is what i am doing to learn to counter the class.
sidenote: the funny thing is im bloing most guards very fast, even bunkers :|
Noticing bunkers are mostly (more than)useless when alone, so play always with a team mate or nearby one.
I dont know why players play it when there are classes that do better and can still burst quite decently.

Assuming you’re a standard bunker build.
Rampage has relatively slow, single-hit attacks. First, its 2 long cooldown CCs (Throw Boulder and Seismic Leap), both of which have obvious animations, and can only be used once per transform. It has a shorter cooldown CC with kick, which also has an obvious animation, and a CC on the last part of the auto-attack chain.
You can use the following abilities to negate at least one attack:
- Protector’s Strike (Mace#3) – blocks one attack
- Shield of Wrath (Focus#5 – if using Focus) – blocks up to 3 attacks
- Dodge – avoids one attack. You have Sigil of Energy in both weapons, so you have at least 4 dodge for the duration of the Rampage.
- Activated Virtue of Courage – blocks one attack, gives you protection and 3 stability for 3 seconds. Also breaks stun.
- Focus#4 – blind one attack. Wait until later in case they used Berserker Stance before going in to Rampage.
- Retaliatory Subconscious – gain Aegis (one block) when CC’ed.
- “Retreat!” (if you have it) – gain Aegis (one block).
- Shelter – Blocks all attacks for 2 seconds.
The following will help you survive:
- “Stand Your Ground!” – 5 stability for 5 seconds. Negates a lot of CC, allowing you to stay mobile.
- “Hold the Line!” – Protection helps negate the auto-attack damage.
- Shield of Judgment (Shield#4 – if using shield) – Protection helps negate the auto-attack damage.
It’s also important to note that it takes 5 seconds to de-cap a node from fully captured and takes 15 seconds to capture a neutral node. That means you can leave the node for a total of 4 seconds throughout the Rampage – more if they leave the node too.
Most warriors tend to use their CC abilities early, so you typically want to use one of your two stability abilities as soon as they activate rampage. Try and save the other for later in case they get you in a CC chain. Do your best to keep your distance. The fraction of a second they need to catch up means a few less abilities used during the Rampage.
