Reaper of Grenth for Condition Stacking?
I always assumed the reaper replaced your weapon bar with its own skillset, which didn’t appeal to me nearly as much as the skillset that tome of courage grants.
I’ve always wanted to try that elite, but everytime I think about it, the huge cooldown fear me from it. Also, is it 3s of poison/chill per second, meaning it would cap duration(I heard it’s 25s max) on both by the end of the duration of RoG if the target stays near you?
Also, incase someone asks, Reaper of Grenth is a Facial Elite Skill for Human.

This is my thinking. If I take Reaper of Grenth and use my 30 Radiance Sword/Torch build, I should be spreading a lot of conditions on several enemies within melee-ish range. Sword also allows for good spike damage and distance-closing to keep Chill and Poison up.
Another option is Hammer. Ring of Warding essentially creates a highly toxic area enemy’s can’t escape. Combine that with Mighty Blow to trigger burning from Purging Flames, and that is a lot of condition damage over a long period.
Radiance, Zeal would help improve damage on Poison (but more importantly, Zeal would push condition duration). Heck, you can even throw in Signet of Judgement for added Weakness. So Weakness, Poison, Chill, Blind and Vulnerability, plus long duration Burn.
Sounds good to me.
Edit: Oh. “Elite Focus” doesn’t improve the duration, sadly. So you’re looking at 15 seconds every 3 minutes. It’s not dependable, but it’s a powerful trump card.
As someone who has Reaper of Grenth, I can tell you it’s not worth it at all. It doesn’t even really look cool.
If you want conditions, just do a Tome. More damage and utility, and Tome of Wrath spreads burning everywhere.
