Requested skill changes
As someone who plays baseline guardian in WvW, I’d love to see these changes implemented there.
Also on a side note, Shield of Courage (DH F3) active effect should take priority of blocking attacks over Aegis. Currently it grants you aegis upon use but the first attack blocked will remove Aegis instead of being blocked by the shield.
I wouldn’t nerf altruistic healing though. 40-80 makes it mediocre for the guard and useless for allies especially when tempest Auras heal for what 700 ish and are spam able. 100-60 might bring it back into play.
Symbol of Faith (Mace) – Reduce Cast time to 1/2 second, Apply 1 stack of might per pulse, 2 second duration.
Scepter got the Might symbol already, they won’t make a duplicate. Make it remove 1 condition from all allies at the beginning, like how Symbol of Energy/Blades apply burning/blind.

I like the suggestion about making the PvP changes to baseline Virtues apply to PvE (I think the only reason they didn’t do this is there are different teams involved and the PvE team has no particular incentive to check and make sure those changes are fine, pretty sure it wouldn’t be game breaking.)
Mace doesn’t really need too much in the way of changes to make it as useable as the other weapon options, but could definitely use a bit of help since it’s always been on the slightly weak side and there’s been a lot of power creep for other weapons (HoT weapons like Longbow, symbol buffs to Sword and Scepter.)
I’d suggest just improving the speed of Faithful Strike to be on par with Pulverize (the equivalent Warrior Mace skill which had it’s cast time buffed a while back, 3/4 sec cast time) and improving the speed of Symbol of Faith to be on par with the new Symbol of Punishment (1/4 sec cast time) should be sufficient and make it feel a lot less clunky. Increasing the duration of the Regen per pulse from 1 to 2 seconds also makes a lot of sense considering it’s a relatively weak buff compared to a lot of the other symbols, but adding might isn’t necessary.
The suggested changes to AH, “Receive the Light”, and Empower also seem pretty good since I don’t see those used much anymore, but they’re a bit harder to evaluate. I definitely like Empower being able to be channeled while moving, as most channels have been changed to be that way now.

Yup. That would be incredibly powerful for the current WvW zerg meta (base sustain guardians running honor/valor/virtues with altruistic healing.
The following requests are what I would like to see implemented to improve quality of life.:
Faithful strike (Mace) – reduce cast time to 1/2 second, 1 stack of vulnerbility for 2 seconds in addition to the current healing.
Symbol of Faith (Mace) – Reduce Cast time to 1/2 second, Apply 1 stack of might per pulse, 2 second duration. Increase the Regeneration time from 1s to 2s per pulse.
Altruistic Healing (GM Trait)- Heal affected Allies for half of what the guardian is healed for. (Caster heals for 80 per boon, Affected allies Heal for 40 per boon)
“Recieve the Light” - Pulse Healing Around the Guardian at 600 Range Instead of in a Cone in front. Keep all modifiers the Same as they are now.
Empower - Remove Healing at the End of Channel. Change to Pulse 3 times, Heal, Grant 4 stacks of Might, and Remove 1 condition per pulse. Make Usable while moving.

I generally like this thread and its idea, to buff base guard instead of DH. However I think you need a bit of a reality check: you’re asking for buffs, not QoL changes. QoL is fixing bugs, reducing particle effects on annoying skill animations, etc. Basically improving the experience of playing the game in such a way that does not increase or decrease the effectiveness of skills. What you’re asking for is an increase in the effectiveness of particular guard skills, so you want buffs to your class.
That virtue pf resolve would heal as much as DH f2 but would remove the option we have to be interrupted :P
One thing that i wish for is retrebutive armor wich i think nobody uses to be merged with pure of heart and retrebutive armor becomes similiar to force of will but giving other atributes intead of vitality and healign output.
