Requesting a critique of my WvW build
you dont bring any support beside 1 med skill which will make you to be on your toes to activate it to your ally
3k armor is needed maybe in zerg scenarios but in 5v5 you can drop down to 2500 armor
the medzerk meta build design for that while supporting with boons
you can go shout guard with AH if you running with 5 allies with you
What would you do to change it? I just want sustain in a fight more than anything. I find that in 2v2+ that when my brother blinks away or something I get focused on by the group and full zerker will not help with that. I guess in my eyes “support” meant applying pressure allowing my brother to chain together his massive burst. I’m also open to changing my weapons just no swords. I really dislike the feel of 1h sword. Thanks for your reply.
Any insight would be great.
Run whatever combo of soldier’s/zerk you’re most comfortable with.
If you want to be more support oriented, you wanna run shouts (probly only 2 + 1 consecration)instead of meds and should have at least one point in your virtues line for those boons, too.
0/0/6/6/4, 0/0/6/4/4 are popular setups.
Try something like

Proper use of medi skills, blinds, blocks, and dodge rolls should be good enough to avoid and mitigate damage. You also have condi removal through Virtue of Resolve which is also another burst heal. Shelter is a 2-second block and Renewed Focus (which is now a meditation skill) will refresh your virtues.
Here’s one with increased hp and less precision (will still be at 50% with fury which you gain from every meditation skill)
There are many ways to stat itemize a meditation guardian, first get the traits and skill use down—then you can start changing your stats to be more offensive.
If you want tanky and support. You’ll want to try something like 0/0/2/6/6 and go mostly cleric gear.
Here’s a video of a buddy and me roaming. See if it’s your play style, you won’t do much damage, you’re there to cc people, clear conditions, and spike everyone that gets downed.
You can try this build am currently running. it’s tanky (21.4k hp, 3k armor with SIN, 540+ healing) gives decent support (staff for might and healing, swiftness, aegis, condi cleanse, stab, retaliation uptime via virtues) and still give decent dps (2k power, 50% crit chance, 199% crit damage) Has good survivability too and can soak away duration-based conditions.
