Retributive Builds?
There are tons of ways to do this, so just make sure you pick a route and focus the traits in on it. Tanky Retaliation and tanky burn builds are nice, and I’ve seen builds that utilize retaliation and burning. If you want to specialize in burning 15 radiance 5 virtues is great, if you want Retaliation I suggest getting the Retaliation stuff from Virtues and 2H mastery for Hammer/GS. If you go GS also pick up Symbol duration.
Makes sense. Tanky Retaliation would be power/vit/toughness I assume and Tanky Burn would be Tough/Vit/Condition damage?
In theory, but I don’t keep up with the min/max parade on stats… Right now I just use my MF gear, and when I finish the legendary grind I’ll start researching the stats. My instinct is that power/tough/vit would be the best all-around, I just hate dying.

With Altruistic Healing (which it looks like your build has) I don’t know how much vitality you will need to stack. I’m running/testing a retaliation build right now (0/0/30/30/10) and decided to go Power/Toughness/Precision, with some healing and vitality on my jewelry, and vitality on my weapons and it’s working great so far.

It’s designed so that anyone that hits me suffers for it and I can keep most targets blinded and/or on fire near constantly while clearing conditions from myself and my group. It’s made an effective “tanking” build so far, up through CoF, but I’ve yet to try it in the end-game content past that.
