Meditation guardian is great fun if get in the fights you want to get in, but the ease of getting zerged makes it almost not worth it.

What if guardian got an elite/utility that was a cross between Necro’s Flesh Wurm and Thief’s Shadow Trap? Somekind of consecration that creates a destructable totem/shrine that the Guard can set up in advance to teleport to in case things go south?

Maybe a stationary spirit weapon?

But i dont know if i would give my invulnerabilty for that and in wvw you can use mobs for running away as meditation guardian (which even works better than necro flesh wurm).

Maybe something like this?

You cast it, and then during 60 second window you can press it again to return to a place you’ve previously been when you’ve used it and heal for X amount.

We can call it ‘Deus ex machina’.

blocking attacks dont put you in combat, so I can pop focus shield and waypoint

If it was that simple you’d see alot more meditation guards in the wild, but good luck finding them outside of the Obsidian Sanctum dueling area :p

Im really struggling to see how its not that simple?

The slowness of guardians are kind of the weakness of meditation builds but it is extremely strong. The speed runes or traveler helps just be on the look out for mobs I usually don’t have alot of issues roaming with my med build.

This is the correct recipe for escaping pretty much everything. Though, you kinda depend on the mobs in the area. Got zerged more then a couple of times because i couldn’t target the kitten mosquito in the distance.

Sounds like an elite/utility I would never ever use.

You can use Judge’s Intervention on white mobs, but you’ve got to know where they are (if there at all).
