Really, why is it “Retreat!”. Doesn’t feel very heroic to me. Especially since half the time I use the skill, I’m running into battle, not away from it.
All Logan Thackery jokes aside, I see Guardians more as shouting something like, “Charge!”. Certainly my amazonian Norn should be shouting something like, “For justice!”, or perhaps “Onward, to the pub!”.

What should your Guardian shout instead of, “Retreat”?

Re-engage! or Let’s Rock!

I have previously suggested to anet that a lot of players would pay gems/money to customise the audio sounds on their shout abilities. I can’t stand my warrior alt shouting “for great justice”. It sounds goofy.
(Amongst other suggestions, such as paying for animation changes. Green fire anyone?)

I’d like mine to shout “tactical withdraw” for when I’m fighting outnumbered fights roaming xD

Holy wombats. …I can’t tell you how much I would LOVE green fire. (WoW-trope aside, I’ve got a thing for green fire. …Have since before I started playing MMOs)

I’d sooner it was something more neutral that worked whether running into battle or retreating. Just something simple like “Greasy Fast Speed muhahahaha”

I usually pop “Retreat” right when I am about to jump into a group of enemies.

So instead of my Guardian yelling “RETREAT!”, I wish he would instead yell:
