Trait: Searing Flames

“When you apply burning to a foe, remove a boon. This effect can only trigger once every 20 seconds.”

Q: Does this CD apply to each foe seperatly or is it an overall cooldown even if you hit multiple foes.

This is hard to test and maybe a good chance for a dev to top bye these forums.

I think it’s an internal cooldown, specific to your character.

It’s an assumption, but I think it makes the most sense.

I believe that, last night, I observed 2 guardians with searing flames attack the same target and it stripped 2 buffs.

I also believe that I ttacked one target, stripped a buff, then attacked another target, inflicting burning, and did not strip a buff.

So it appears, if I observed correctly, that it is a cooldown for the guardian.

I wasn’t watching for this, I was just staring at the boss’s buffs, so I could be mistaken.
