So I kind of wanted to run a mix build focusing on the Greatsword, a build with ok survivability and decent damage.

http://www.guildhead.com/skill-calc#Mccz0mzzMRrnoMRrnmG0xG0Mkzobcs

Now I mainly PVE and occasionally PVP in sPvP and WvW

The only thing I really need help on is what gear I should go for.

I want to keep my crit % as close to 50% as possible but still want to have a nice amount of vitality and toughness.

I was thinking about using Pow/Vit/Tough armor with Superior Runes of the Eagle (once I can afford them that is :P).

The stats on the Greatsword and secondary weapons being Pow/Prec/Crit Damage.

And what I really need help on is choosing the right Accessories!

I was thinking Berserker, but I’m not sure on what gems to use

I’m also not very sure if I should go with Scepter/Focus or a Hammer.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

I run a variant of what you are hoping to do but I focus on shouts instead of meditations.

You should drop 10 points from Zeal and add them to Honor to pick up “Empowering Might” because you can essentially always have 5+ might stacks on yourself and nearby allies just by critting, which is worth a lot more than 100 power (10pt in zeal).

I would also suggest removing the remaining 10 points out of Zeal and putting them in Radiance for the minor trait and the major trait Signet Mastery to use with Signet of Resolve (which is the Guardian’s best healing skill imo) and the Signet of Judgement you use.

Personally I use the Searing Flames major trait for some boon removal which is the Guardian’s only source of it.

For gear, I suggest Knight’s but use Cleric accessories and for runes use either Soldier’s (if you use shouts) or Dolyak (for general defense).

Cleric accessories will give you some much needed healing power which your gear currently lacks in order to keep your resolve strong.

Also, pro-tip: “Mango Pie” consumable has a constant heal over time and it heals me for 80hps with only 300 healing power (and yes it does scale with your healing power), while Virtue of Resolve is healing me for 100 and Dolyak (not affected by healing power) heals me for 30. What this means is that if you use 6/6 Superior Runes of the Dolyak, Mango Pie, and the passive VoR, you can have passive incoming heals of 200+hps (depending on your healing power), which is a great boon to our durability.
