1) How long does it last? It says 4 seconds but the bubble disappears in about 2.

2) Does activating the skill cause you to block melee attacks? Or does it just stop projectiles?

It lasts 4 seconds, but make sure you’re not detonating the shield. Only press the skill button once to activate the shield.

It pushes enemies away and absorbs targeted projectiles. It neither blocks attacks, nor absorbs aoe projectiles like those from Meteor Shower, Barrage, or siege weapons.

the actual animation of the bubble is shorter than the duration of absorption.

the bubble lasts for about 2-3 secs, but the absorption effect is 4 secs, so you’ll see projectiles getting absorbed even after the bubble disappear.
