I’m sure that i’m not the only one who’s noticed, but aegis seems to be consumed even when blocking attacks from the front via Shield of Courage. I’m not sure if this is intended, or what everybody thinks about this.

I used to think of shield of courage as a tool to keep uptime on unscathed contender in melee, but nope.. the aegis is consumed regardless. I would imagine the aegis should last until shield of courage ends (unless being hit from behind). The way it is now, the aegis just seems redundant and pointless, so it kind of bugged me.

Basically 50% of the classes are bugged.

Touched your guard lately? Thought not half of the skills can be countered due to bugs. There are even bugs listed on the wiki that have not been fixed.

To answer also the question from OP yes i have played guardian recently. I play everything except engineer.
And with my sentence i just wanted to say, 50% of all professions are bugged you are not the only ones. Main problem with guard is all useful skills on paper have a ridiculous cd.
Sanctuary, wall of deflection etc etc.
And of course the spirit weapons.

Why i mentioned ranger is because their class mechanic is basically bugged since launch so yeah i know how you feel as ranger main.

Yea I hear you guys. This just seemed like more of an oversight than a bug to me. I mean the aegis might as well not even be part of the skill. But yea, just threw it out there since I can get OCD about unscathed contender sometimes.

Can we get a Dev comment, that they intend to change/fix this? A lot of traits are unpickable because of this. Guardian builds are already narrow as kitties. This only makes it worse
