There should be a buff to have it insta cast if this trait is slotted for the stun break to be effective.

My personal issue with the cast time is that if you get interrupted while casting, it goes on full cooldown. and that was before the shield had even activated.

Well, actually, despite the fact that there’s a small cast time (1/4s with a little aftercast), this is still a stunbreak, which functions quite properly; meaning you can still use it while being CC’d.
