Guild Wars 2

Now i have 80 warrior with full exotic (3 sets) gear and bunch of weapons, but i don’t like it. Warrior is boring, boring skills, poor animations and other things i don’t like.

I tried leveling as mesmer(every fight with monster i should use both weapon sets, all utility skills, dodging, blowing illusions, kinda exhausting), elementalist (skills feel just weak), necromancer (pets are stupid and i can’t control them, no cleave damage, really weak vampiric, some very strange slot skills), thief (insanely hard leveling), ranger (pets just stupid and uncontrolled) – every of this class i up to 20 lvl (ranger 60) and tried at spvp and wvw, and don’t really like it.

So i think about guardian, maybe i just like heavy armor and close combat.

It’s all about your build cause I can have fun on every single class I play. Go to the mists try out some builds and see what you enjoy. I play Guardian and I know for a fact if I played Bunker I’d fall asleep so I try other builds.

Honestly if you don’t like how boring your warrior is in PVE then guardian is going to disappoint you just as much. The builds are a bit different but at the end of the day they’re still the same kind of play style. One could even argue that warriors have a more diverse play style ’cause they have an actual proper (2 even) ranged weapon(s) option.

As for WvW/PvP on a guardian, yeah..
PvP is mainly just cookie cutter bunker build and hold a spot. WvW gives you more options. I enjoy WvW on my guardian because I can still have decent amount of damage and be incredibly tough to kill. But if you’re expecting/wanting to kill a lot then you might want to stick with warrior.

As a Guardian, I felt leveling was obnoxious the first 10 to 15 levels, but after that it was a breeze. For a single mob I never had/have to dodge at all and multiple mobs aren’t very hard either, with some skilled playstyle.
But a lot depends on the build you use. You really have to look for a build that suits your preferences.
