Sigil of Life?
Stacks til u die:)/downed
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sigil_of_Life
Just to clarify: the stacks do not disappear if you swap weapons, they do disappear if you get downed or change maps.
Really? So you could have a sigil of bloodlust on a sword, a sigil of perception a torch, kill 25 mobs, switch to a hammer with a sigil of life, kill 25 mobs…and then be walking around with a near permanant +250 to healing, power and precision?
That seems like it would be awesome for pretty much any and all pve content. Too awesome, infact. Am I missing some hidden drawback?

You can only have one “stack” of one thing at a time. Maximum number of a stack is 25. So if you have 5 stacks of Bloodlust, and you switch to your weapon with Sigil of Life, You stay with 5 stacks of Bloodlust and gain no stacks of Life. If you go downed, you lost the 5 stacks of Bloodlust, then kill an enemy you gain 1 stack of Life(In other words, you will not gain a stack of X if a stack of Y exists)
THAT’S what I was missing. Thanks, all of these answers have been incredibly useful.
Even with just the one set of stacks, it seems that the (eventual) 250 to your stat of choice is a huge gain compared to other possible sigil choices. Especially if you can then change the weapon and keep the stacks.
I think I’m definitely going to work it in to my setup. Thanks again all.
Well i use most of the time these type of sigils while i m leveling my guardian because you have 3 types (5, 7 10) so a 250-350 extra stat in whatever your sigil was.
In dungeons i don’t use them because most of the time you will get downed at some point, There are not enough mobs to kill to use its full potential.
Agree mainly, but it’s somewhat situational. AC, for instance, I very rarely get downed. I can stand taking hits from the bosses all day. What with the graveling nests and the spiders, I think you could build up your stack pretty quickly,
As you’re leveled down, the straight up 250 bonus would count for quite a lot, too.
