Anyone else feel like they need to be toned down a bit?

Sometimes when I am playing my wife ask how I even know whats going on.

I started Guild Wars 2 playing as an explosives Engineer. To me, bright lights and pretty particle effects are nothing compared to how constantly obstructive Grenades and Bombs are. I think the picture you posted is the light from “Judgment”.

Whatever it was, it hurt my eyes! Also, you should’ve seen the damage everyone took seconds later because no-one could see the AoE circles on the floor.

It is an elite skill you can only cast pretty much once every 3 minutes. And it is awesome.

TBH only the tome’s healing I would tone it down. Not on the guardian, but on the fractal’s Archdiviner. It literally hurts my sight whenever he casts it. It’s pretty insane.

Certain mobs also multiple the particle effects of many professions by a ridiculous factor. Like that mob. And air elementals.
