Two main builds in tPVP

10/30/30 standard bunker tpvp build

I am currently using 5/30/30/5 azshene build right now.

I am wondering, what is the difference? I thought I was a bunker using Azs’s build, but I think maybe that is more a mid team fight build (AH)?

Can you guys set me straight? I want to know what each build is, from my understanding is as follows

1) 10/30/30 is a node defender build
2) 5/30/30/5 is a team fight mid help support build with AH

Am I right?

Both do the same thing really However the Healaway Guard option 1 Would offer a larger amount of support for the team and the 2nd option offers relatively good support while keeping yourself up a little longer due to the blocks and AH. You’re not playing it wrong but I do promote finding your own play style so if you feel like something isn’t right try something different.

But what are the main differences, is one a complete node bunker, while the other is more MID based, due to AH?

I kind of like straight up just getting on a node and keeping it.

I have been using the 5/30/30/5 build for that, but thinking I am using it wrong…and should be in mid supporting teammates.

I just don’t know if I am playing the builds right, I think there are huge differences in the builds, one being a better a bunker than the other.

10/30/30 seems like a more selfish node bunker defense build, while the AH build seems like more a team support build no?

Both are viable for Node defence however the Bunker/Heal away is superior since it has longer boon duration and the other build is better in groups as you get the greatest healing from AH in group scenarios.

When everything is said and done I think you should use the Bunker/Heal Away for what you want to do since I think it matches what you want to do better and also the other build is something that is used in high level competitive team PvP so is more specific to the play style that the team adopts.

The Bunker is a Bunker and Bunkers on a point and offers support for allies so it’s a good node defender and invaluable at Mid since it can offer so much healing/support for it’s allies. The AH is indeed more of a mid spec since it gets the largest amount of healing in a group environment.

Soloing in these specs isn’t advisable since that isn’t what they were made for and it is actually near impossible to kill a good player with a bunker guardian cause you simply can’t hit him for enough and he will just back off from you if he feels threatened at all.

For solo run a zerker guardian however this takes some practice because you won’t be used to being so squishy and you have to rely a lot on well timed blinds/dodges etc but once mastered there isn’t much you can’t drop in a 1vs1. Not blowing my own horn and saying I’m an awesome Guardian but I can absolutely wreck a Bunker guard using my Zerker.

well what I usually do is just sit on a node until someone comes, then I call for help and we kill him, then the other player leaves me until i call for help again.

are you saying go all divinity runes, beserker amulet triple med dps?

I prefer using runes of the Eagle over Divnity for the extra critical chance and the +5% damage after 50% health but it’s a yes to the rest of it.

I was thinking GS and scepter/shield or focus

Weapons are down to personal preference but at the moment I’m using Greatsword and Hammer simply because I like locking down the more mobile classes.

For the people who are wondering what he is referring to, here it is! The below is in reference to random people like amin himself, and others hating on Sensotix’s thread named “interview with best ingame guardian azshene”

Everyone was giving Senso crap about how he is not the best guardian, or even top guardian etc. Meanwhile they are all random as hell and do not have the right to even talk about him. Yes I spit on people who are bad hating on players who have actually proven themselves to be good.

A guy came to ask for help on Guardians and he received it what he said or insinuated on other Posts or Forums has nothing to do with this Post here and now. I’m not defending anyone and I genuinely couldn’t care less for either side of the argument my issue is that there is a dual of the keyboards spreading around posts which believe it or not is pretty darn pointless.

I suggest just chilling out and doing something like gardening or tickling the chins of cute bunny rabbits.
