Im playing DH is ranked and loving it.

I am wondering wich one is the best build and why?

On Matabattle:“https://metabattle.com/wiki/Conquest” it says Meditrapper is Meta and Symbloci is Not. But ive heard alot of ppls saying Symbolic is better at all.

Any experienced player can tell me your opinion?

Meditrapper has a higher ceiling.

Menders Symbolic is easier to braindead SoloQ with.

I’ll intrude…..is symbolic any good in WvW?

Use meditrapper if you duo q. Use symbolic if you solo q (which you say you will). Use marauders amulet though and not menders.

No not really. Symbolic shines in sPvP because of the fact that it is based on capturing points. In WvW there is no reason for anyone to stand on your symbols so they can pretty much just ignore you.

Does work excellently for sentry points though and for thfs who need to get close to attack since you can just spam the symbol on your feet and range them from afar, forcing them to either get close to retaliate and take damage from your symbols, invisi to break your los and lose cap, or use lol pistols and lose anyway.

Ok, for Symbolic with marauders. What weapons? Scepter/Focus + Sword/Shield?

Or should I pick mace in any set?

scepter/focus and sword/shield is yes. not mace, that is for menders symbolic.

If you are using marauders its better to just play medi trap. Mace is not that great without menders amulet so you might as well go with bow.

I use ToF/Smite Condition/Judges on my utility bar. It’s basically the usual LB meta build except go Cleanse on Block in DH tree.

Can go Virtues/Valor/DH or swap Virtues with Zeal for more damages; bursts with Shattered Aegis.

I go ToF, Smite Condition, Contemplation of Purity. Dh/valor/virtues. Use all top traits on dh line. Symbolic is very good at fighting condi builds. Makes condi thfs super angry. kittens all over condi rev too.
