Lerious Warhowl – Charr Warrior – [SHD] Shade Warband – Tarnished Coast

As they’ve stated the recently revealed traits/specializations are not final and subject to change there are a few things that could be tweaked, though most of the guard changes as far as I can see are superb. Though here are a few other things you might consider doing.
-Purity of the body(Honor Grandmaster Minor) - This should honestly be combined with Battle Presence as it does feel a bit excessive to have another minor which gives vigor (Vigorous Precision) which basically does the same thing but better. Put Elusive power back into the minor grandmaster slot or swap it out for Pure of heart and stick Elusive Power into the master slot for those builds that want a bit more damage.
-Retaliatory Subconscious - This needs to be swapped out with something else , break stuns, or just be combined with another trait. Because 3s of retaliation on a 30s CD is a very underwhelming choice. Maybe it should be combined with Retribution?
-Inspired Virtues- This is just my thought but Inspired Virtues should become baseline as well since there are many builds which have slotted 1 point into virtues specifically for just this minor trait, to make their virtues feel like they’re actually useful in using Virtue for their actives. If this was changed you’d have to also replace this minor with something else.
-Supreme Justice + Permatrating Wrath - The way this is set up these two trait should be merged. Between the other two traits not many people are going to pick Supreme Justice over Absolute Resolution just because Condition Removal is practically essential and better passive regeneration is hard to pass up. By combining these two traits as well, you give a better options for going down that line if you want to improve your damage with better VoJ passive and effect, or you want to support with AoE VoJ Regen and Endurance Regen, or you want more support against CC, stunbreak and stability with VoC. Though the only thing with doing this change is you would have to find another trait to take Supreme justice’s place.
These are just my suggestions for better more meaningful trait improvement and selection everything else looks very good from my perspective.

I actually think that changing Absolute Resolution and Indomitable Courage into minor traits would open up a lot more trait choices.
My problem is that virtues are a essential trait line right now. Changing anything with these two traits breaks us but it’s just not healthy as it is.

The tooltip says it gives aegis too. This makes it a bit better

I agree on that one. I would love to see “justice is blind” here. Its would fit in the Virtue line and its also a trait used by most meta builds (power and bunker) in a condition-traitline. These builds would have to go without it bc its not worth for them going into Radiance as Dps or bunker guard
Beside the “justice is Blind” trait, i would also like to see a power Master-trait in Valor. currently as a Dps guard you have to choose Monks focus—> valor but there are only defensive Valor Master Traits
Another thing is the Trait “strenght of the fallen” (already made a thread for that). I would like to see the downstate stuff removed (so just Purity)
Edit: didnt see the aegis on retaliatory subconscious. But i still think blind on virtue of justice would be a nice trait to have in Virtues. you could trait all 3 virtues then(blind on F1,condicleanse on F2 and Stab on F3).
@pitman: making absolute resolution and indomitable courage into minor would be a bit op i think. Also i think that the specialization will give us a traitline as alternative for the virtues line.

Absolute Resolution, and Indomitable Courage are traits that have to be in Major slots because they’re really powerful traits. Sticking them into minor slots would be pretty broken for what they bring to the table . I just think Inspired Virtues should be baseline, because without it the actives on our virtues feel very underperforming.
But would you ever take anything else except these two traits? I’m not saying that this is a super great idea but it’s a problem that should get solved.
Edit:
Oh, and they should give Zealous Scepter increased velocity for scepter auto attack. So it’s not so dependend on Supreme Justice.

I think they just need to up the duration of the retal-based traits in general. Healer’s Retribution in Radiance is 3 seconds of retal on heal skill use. Considering that the best we’ll get is a 24 sec cooldown heal skill, that’s not really worth taking over the other two options in any situation.

That may be OP considering Torch’s Cleansing Flame will already give you 6 stacks of might from this trait assuming you hit 3 targets at the same time. That’s 10 stacks if you trait Supreme Justice. Scepter’s velocity isn’t really needed at this point.
I don’t see this being OP. It’s only 6 stacks. Getting them doesn’t seems that easy with us being so slow and actually converting the might into effective damage is a problem too. Don’t forget that it directly competes with ‘increase dmg dealt to burning foes by 10%’
