First sorry for my english is not my native language.,

So i test the meditation build whit GS/Hammer , GS/Staff, SW/Torch , Secpter/Torch etc…
And i saw this build: http://intothemists.com/guides/3585-spirit_weapons_with_speed_runes

I test a litle for like 10min, and i have to say, i liked a lot. I died less then i expected and did a good dmg. I dont know if this is the new way to play whit guardian. Because it is difficult these days to stay alive and kick some kitten…

What u guys think about?

It’s a good build that I’ve been using for awhile myself with the exception of spirit bow which i use Purging Flames to remove condis and burn foes then with the focus can cause more burning on them with shield of wrath along with the added protection (5). The spirit hammer has nice cc plus when triggered can do some great dmg (the only downside is it’s fairly easy to see when it is being triggered and dodge so it’s best to try and use up the person’s dodges or lock them with #3 or 4 with the hammer before using. Think I did 9.3k dmg to someone yday. You may want to replace speed runes with Runes of Strength instead due to all the might you can get from it and the added 7% dmg boost with might boost. You’ll lose out on 1800hp but the dmg output may make up for it.

As for Traits I have been absolute resolution for the added condi removals instead of indomitable courage and since I don’t really use symbols much I went with wrathful spirits for the added retaliation on aegis removal.

I actually find using barbarian amulet to be a better fit with the added hp.

2k armor is a little too squishy for my taste.

I tweaked the first one a bit you have about 200 less toughness but depending on how much range for the other team using a mace over the scepter you would be able to get 5% more dmg and 250 healing power (used with #1 and #2 skills) and if the #3 skill goes it’s full duration you get the added 3 1/2s protection. You can always switch back the valor trait 6 and use scepter if there is are ranged. I kept the strength runes for the added 7% dmg with might boon.

Also replaced hollowed ground with purging flames for the added dmg and condi cleanse plus more burn dmg when you use focus #5 skill. I would never really use hollowed ground anymore (seems to have been nerfed in duration by a lot) would instead use SYG for the longer stability duration and being able to give it to the rest of your nearby team if there’s a lot of cc on the other team or in skyhammer.

But why u dont use GS? Gs give u more dmg then mace or specter

It just mostly depends on the situation. Scepter has the range, which I’ve found very useful when I see 3+ distance classes fighting and because of the trait setup in those 2 builds there, mace has that extra 5% dmg and 250 healing power. For the most part though is because I really like using focus in pvp it’s saved me a bunch of times and has the blast finisher with the #5 skill and since I use hammer for the extra cc the GS has taken a bit of a backseat in pvp.

There is currently a bug with all NPC damage in PvP being higher than intended. We are shooting to get this fixed before the Tournament of Legends.

This has been posted in SPvP, think its relevant here.
