Hey, Recently I got an idea how to change guardian’s spirit weapons using already known skill concepts.
With free time and while being bored I have created few screenshots showing my concept of “new” spirit wepons.
Let’s get rid of poorly proggramed AI skills which most of players don’t like.
The mechanics for this skills would be like compilation of herald’s facets, ranger’s spirits and scrapper’s gyros.

I will attach screenshots respectively for:
Spirit Sword
Spirit Hammer
Spirit Bow
Spirit Shield
and how could they appear and work

Regarding to the spirit shield, I had the most problems and didn’t know what to do as passive effect for it.

It’s ofc just overall concept of like the spirit weapons skill could look like, the cooldowns, durations and other parameters are just examples and should be changed and balanced.
So that’s it from me. I would like to see what you guys are thinking and I would be very happy to see a dev response to this.

With so much single and aoe ranged skills, the shield dome sometimes is really effective, i would not like to loose that, still using shield spirit, it’s CD and durability make a huge sacrifice for its carrier.
WvW atm is cast wall of reflection, and fps start dropping due the amount of people taking reflected damage and getting downed, so the dome migh be usefull to. :\.

But, IF we could cast those SW like we casted holy veil (gw1 reference)on the allies would be fun lol… at least it would kinda make sense for the bow, problem would be the aoe spam that would damage SW easilly, dead before any effect is triggered.

Gyros arent that special either, pull the stealth gyro from a scrapper with spear of justice, all u see is him looking for its gyro, so funny.

1st April joke, when gw2 receives a “balance” update.
