not really sure but my biggest regret is that a very interesting build does not work.

I think a SW build with Shattered aegis would have been something viable. Add in communal defense and AH you would have a great setup snce ou can bring at least one ally along all the time. Top it off with rune of the ogre and you might be able to set up 4 Shattered aegis by yourself.

Zeal, Valor, Honor could have been a thing – traiting shouts and Pure of Heart in honor with Retreat and FMW gives quite the sustain and keeps the SW longer alive.

spirit weapons with haste are pretty kitten cool and stack quite a bit of burn.

however…. since SW and Shattered Aegis are competing for GM its not going to happen.

I tested. They are useless as ever. But shield might have niche uses and bow might work with healing power on WvW (not tested yet).

I’d like it if someone could grab a Condi build and use Expeditious Spirit to see how well fire damage can be stacked with spirit weapons- might be a bit more viable than previously.

The only problem is that it’s competing with Symbolic Avenger and Shattered Aegis; I would prefer either of those two in nearly every situation.

The only problem is that it’s competing with Symbolic Avenger and Shattered Aegis; I would prefer either of those two in nearly every situation.

I tested in full carrion with sword and hammer spirit weapons. Doesn’t worth.

The spirit weapons would need a rework before they SHOULD ever be viable ever again. Spirit weapons are an oppressive and skilless mechanic that overly reward a player for doing nothing. The hard cc from hammer when it was invincible was one of the most frustrating things in the game. Any time a player speaks up and wants an AI spec where the AI is doing more work than the player to be viable again I vomit all over my desk and want this community to think about things before they make posts…

I want spirit weapons to be invincible again and get +50% damage back. They should also stay out permanently until killed like necro minions. Sword and Hammer also need to cast JI when you activate their skills, and bow needs to bounce to foes and deal at least 700 base damage.

Even if they were made permanently available like necro minnions they would still suck due to the AI and the fact they can be killed so easily.

Frankly I wish they would just change them to be more of a mix between warrior banners & ranger spirits.

They would be invulnerable, and you would drop them at a spot to give an area buff to a stat.
Then you could command them to give you & or nearby allies a special effect.

They started off as invulnerable but because of some issues that caused in pvp they were nerfed down to temporary pets with bad stats.

I mentioned the permanent thing only as a first step. Obviously the hp and effects would have to be buffed much more before the build can be considered competitive.

I just tested the Spirit Bow as healing build. Its cooldown is too high for what it does. I, someone that have a full Zealot Elementalist, that can literally spam (buffed the CD reduction to -33%) Water Staff #3 – heals for 4.5k and have a large radius on 13 seconds CD, the spirit bow is useless (heals for 4k – 2 times in 30 seconds and then only on 60 sec again).

Also my elementalist heals for 600 per second only with Soothing Mist, 1k on auto attack, have a lot of CCs and regeneration. The Elementalist is a lot more viable to act as “healer” and bring a lot more to the fight.

The only difference is that Guardian can hold their on better thanks to AH, is melee and have wall of reflection. Both can apply regeneration and protection.

Before some ones say that dies too easy, my elementalist is always the last one to die. The healing also help with sustain. Same with my guardian (I use half zealot, half cleric).

And the Shield Spirit dies just too easly and their cooldown is too high as well. Is not worth even considering to use.

The spirit weapons need a real revamp. Same with Signet of Mercy, Sanctuary, Hallowed Ground and Merciful Intervation. Most of the problems with these skills (except fo Signet of Mercy) is ther insane cooldown considering what they offer. The Signet of Mercy needs to its cast time to be reduced.

Guardian is the one with the larger amount of useless/weak things.
