Stats for a guardian?
Wrong. Disregarding offensive stats doesn’t make you a tank, it just makes you useless. Regardless of your build, you need offensive stats, the game is made so that all players have to have some sort of contribution to damage. Also, the most defensive gear in the game, power/tough/vit, has power as its primary stat.
Please don’t disregard DPS. It will hurt your group’s dungeon speeds and will make you unable to do any sort of soloing effectively.
I highly recomend the build you will find in the above link. It really does depend on your play style though. If you’re in an active guild that groups alot then you can maybe do without stacking power. If you solo alot then your going to need some power. I think as a generally rule its not good pour points into traits that you also have in armor. Example: 30 points in valor and toughness based armor and jeweler. Yeah you will have great toughness but at some point you need to need to kill the target. You need some balance. Always remeber the best damage mitigation is a dead foe.
Keep in mind that GW2 isn’t as rigid compared to other mmos. The classes where created to allow players a lot of freedom. I personal like the build because I can easily change from support to damage. As always do what works for you.

With all due respect, how is having fun your own way useless? I am not disregarding DPS, but rather your apparent treatmenf of non DPS options. It’s not all about speed clears, but also about enjoying ourselves as we play our characters however we like, DPS or not.
My Guardian’s total attack is laughable to most elitists, yet I have no problem doing “any sort of soloing effectively” as you claim; I do have a bit of power on my gear, but it’s still relatively low vs most. I also don’t consider myself a hindrance to my allies (even if you would) just because my theoretical DPS may in fact be the lowest in the party-I do little things here and there that contribute to the overall damage and survivability of the party, which are not as obvious/noticeable as DPS-I don’t seek attention, so that fits my playstyle very well.
Not everybody adheres to the Skritt mentality “Quick! Kill it!” (I love that quote, BTW.) :P It’s quite OK to play in other ways, and it’s not always DPS=good, everything else=waste/ineffective. I do like party members that are DPS, I just feel that people should not be forced into that role as “no trinity” doesn’t mean that it’s only about DPS now.
As far as the OP goes, balance is good; try to get toughness, but also a bit of vitality since your hit points are so low. Don’t disregard power at all, as having NO power in your gear can prove detrimental, especially when you are level 80 against tough enemies. You could do with power as secondary attributes too; something like Knight’s stats, coupled with a few pieces of gear with Vitality (for those who dislike Healing Power, perhaps a mix of Knight’s and Valkyrie’s-Cleric’s if you are into Healing Power.) Precision is also good if you are going for criticals or Altruistic Healing builds. But you certainly DON’T NEED all Berserker’s/Valkyrie’s/Soldier’s stats, and weapon stats can also complement your gear as well.
In short, I agree with SpelignErrir that Power should not be ignored, since we don’t have that many options for condition damage. No power at all is theoretically doable but is most probably going to slow you down. I just think that you don’t necessarily need to focus on power, and that it’s OK to explore your other non DPS options (toughness/vitality/healing/etc.), as long as you don’t totally disregard Power.
Here’s mine with the foods I run makes me a beast.
