Simple Question :-)
I need inspiration for a new Main-Hammer build.

I love the hammer, but I play now almost the same spec for months and wants variety. I’m currently on AH build.

I haven’t played for a while so apologies if this is now out of date, the last thing I did was Thermonova Fractal!

This is the general 15/15/0/20/20 hammer build that I use:

With my muck around guild group I tended to run with both fire fields and the wall. Fields for everyone!

(try not to get your light fields stuck in the fire ones).

From what I’ve seen in this forum, Hammer builds go with this

(if your are the main/only source of condi removal)

(if your party has enough condi removal/ not just you with condi removal)

If i’m not wrong those are the 2 meta for Hammer in PvE

If your bored, you need to challenge yourself a bit. Meta might do that for you but if you are even more adventurous:

25/25/0/20/0 (for more symbol pain) or 25/25/0/0/20 (if your megapro and don’t need vigor regen and can keep up the aegis)

Here is the caveat: It’s not meta, so people can ignore this post if they just want to preach about how meta is so awesome for everything all the time.

How about a ground targeting concentration hammer/staff build for total control in group fights and excellent ressing skills. would be very fun to break things up a little for you, you could even run zerker with maybe PVT slotted in. 15/0/10/20/25

This wont be great but sure will be fun for a day or so to get you off meta.
