Support Accessories: Cleric vs Soldier
Mix some soldier in for HP. If you’re running full healing power, then you should have enough to fill up the HP you get from soldier. (And even then, Guardians do a great job of refilling their health even with 0+ in Healing Power) So you should be fine with sticking some soldier in.
Thank you, I appreciate the input
If you want to play full support then the choice seems obvious: Both improve your survivability a lot through different means, but only one of them improves your direct support.
Vitality improves your health. Healing power improves all of your healing. Guess which one your team mates will prefer.
Either ways you’ll be very hard to kill, but roughly as dangerous as a kitten’s fart in the desert.
Cleric for sure if your concern is support and not damage. Soldier is less tanky, its not max toughness. Imo, what makes a tank is the +Toughness stat on a guardian, the heals are a afterthought. Make sure to run (AH) Trait w/ a staff for megaheals.
Soldier armor, cleric everything else. Even with this boost to HP there are still builds/bosses that can easily instagib you; but at least you’ll be able to handle most of them.
Also consider shield for xtra protection on the mates?

Since you’re aiming for support then I’d say go full cleric. You won’t really need the extra hp imo, I myself do just fine with 13965 hp and if im fullstacked then I get about 1700+ healing power which is quite a lot and using dodge food together with sigil of energy swaps x2 is just ridiculous healing output :P
Gandara
if you are running with AH i’d recommend Magi (Prec/vit/heal) trinkets, in combination with soldier(higher hp) or knight(more crits) armor and weapon
you get a pretty high crit rate, lots of healling going on and pretty decent damage
I have kept back and amulet soldiers,
switched the rest (rings and earrings) to cleric.
feels OK to me. 16K hp most of the bosses dont 1 shot you if you keep protection up.
