Guild Wars 2

Hello!
I’ve been playing my guardian for a week or so now, lvl 40 atm and I’ve been starting to think about how to gear it at level 80.
I do mostly PvE and want to go for a more supportive role so I thought like this:

Aurora armor of Melandru – For power, toughness and vitality. Although I’m not sure if I should keep the runes in it or change them for Superior Rune of the Soldier or Warrior.

I mostly use a mace + shield combo so I thought I’d use a Superior Sigil of Bloodlust in the mace for some extra damage and Superior Sigil of Water in the shield for a 30% chance to heal nearby allies.
I’d also use a staff as second weapon set when in parties that need support or I’ll use a greatsword for some extra dps when it’s really needed when i PvE alone or with few others.

Then I would go for jewels with toughness/vitality + power + healing power as main stats, or trade power for tougness/vitality for extra defense. And use enchants with the same stats as the jewels main stats.

So there you have the draft of it, should give me very nice defense, somewhat OK damage and good healing power.
Would this be an OK build? I kind of have the same stats priorities right now although I’m only at level 40 and it’s working very nicely for me.

Just make sure to get some healing power in your build too, cleric accessories are pretty good at this.
