Sword, Shield and Hammer
I know quite a lot of basic and advanced guardian tactics, theory, synergy etc. And currently i’m trying the same combo with an altruistic healing build similiar to Brutaly’s. There seems to be some weak spots, but over all it seems like it could be viable if you traited correctly and used the sword/shield a little more situationally than the hammer. I’m still testing different sigils in it, different trait set ups, and different ways of using it.
I’m not your best bet as far as concrete facts and theory crafting goes, but if you’d like me help you with the basics of sword/sheild-hammer synergy, and show you a little bit of what i find to be the most useful traits/combos/etc. then id be glad to. I love the crowd control the build offers, and thanks to the Sword you can put out a bit of damage as well if needed. The important thing about this build (and weapon-combination) is that you should make the fight according to how you want it. Use your control and gap-closer to make sure the enemy is at the distance you want them to be.

Yanna it seems your build is a pretty solid support shout build which I’m looking forward to trying out tonight. Think it’ll work out well with all the great cc the weapons choices provide.
I’ve essentially looking for a average damage with good tank/support build and what you posted Yanna might fit that.
I use that build with 6 Lyssa Runes. Strength Sigil in Sword and Hammer and Accuracy in shield
