If i were traited for empowering might and Altrustic Healing. When symbols crit would it trigger off empowering might to allies thus healing myself via AH ?

Crits from symbols counted for food buffs so I guess it will also work for Empowering Might.

Yes, as far as I tested, Symbol hits counts as an attack (each tick).

This means it’ll proc Zealous Blade, Empowering Might (and Altruistic Healing), counts as Virtue of Justice ticks, etc…
