This is killing the way combat can be down and is dumbing down the combat style to a more traditional WoW style.

I’ve noticed in PvE, sPvP, and WvW that when I use Judge’s Intervention and/or Judges’s Intervention in combination with Leap of Faith I end up getting a rubberband effect. The teleportation bounces me back to where I started. I have pasted forum links describing this bug with other professions as well, mostly the thief.

Is anybody else still experiencing this? Does anybody know if Anet is aware of this and is fixing it, or are they trying to prevent skills from linking together?

I get this a lot in pvp, as I’ll pop focus 5 then judges intervention in, any good player will know to dodge so I instant leap after to blind so they miss and can’t break focus 5 and keep on them, and we’ll, this rubber band effect is annoying as kitten.

I usually just follow through with the leap, so I never had it done to me before. But the Guardian teleport IS broken.
Examples
-Most notably Sky hammer on either points A or C you can teleport to an enemy on the other side of the wall.
*Which is awesome but you can’t do this on most maps. In some cases you can’t teleport to some one directly above you and you can’t teleport when free falling like when the skyhammer glass panels break.
And… why not? It’s a Teleport. You should be able to Teleport when ever, how ever you see fit. As long as the targeted enemy is in range.

Yes! I sometimes find my port works like normal but then other times on maps like forest of nifhel for instance, I’m unable to port up to them pesky rangers on mid point sniping me, I also have the same issue on my mesmer with blink, it will just port me into the wall etc. As you said it shouldn’t be limited to working in certain places and should work everywhere it’s intended to

ps: welcome to Gold Diggers 2.. this is a well know bug, but you know? arenasad only have in mind skin/toys/lame item → money → profit.

It is still happening to me as well. I find it odd that it’s never been addressed by the redtags.

This happen to all port skills even on my thief I suffer from the same issue.

Will the DEVS please give a response!?!

It’s a bug. Has to be. It’s a teleport for crying out loud. Maybe not a big deal in pve or wvw for that matter but in time sensitive situation in the spvp and tpvp world it makes a HUGE deal. Especially for a Guardian like myself where every single skill counts or it’s game over.

I’ve must have played nearly 13 tpvp games today (gone from 97% to 371 mind you) and found numerous locations where the teleport simply did not want to work.

-Does not work if a player is x amount of feet above or below ground And behind certain objects.
Example: Temple of the Silent Storm; if a ranger is on the upper part in front of Gate (middle) sniping away, the guardian cannot teleport when you’re at either sides of the rock or directly below him.
(Teleport works under Battle of Kyhlo’s middle, you can teleport right through the middle-house floor…or at a window beneath it. Huge for the guardian. Also directly at Keep’s middle on Forest of Nifhel instead of taking the stairs up)

Still like to mention the panels from Spirit Hammer, you can’t teleport when they bust under you. That is still worth mentioning as dying from that glitch is a huge bummer.

I know the Devs read these threads and forums, so I’m really confused as to why there has been NO RESPONSE about this!

I’ve noticed that when targeting one of the group golem dummies in Heart of the mists, you don’t teleport when behind one of the elevated ground cracks near by. You just stay in place as if you hit a barrier. One of many circumstances that the Teleport skill doesn’t work. Still no sign if these items are going to be fixed or not. I’ll continue to mention the areas where “teleportation” doesn’t ‘teleport’ at all.
