I’ve been looking for a decent staff to buy (looks wise) for a while now, does anyone know what the staff 1 animation on guardians looks like with the crossing or any other decent staffs that have nice animations on guardians otherwise.

(I’m an Asura if the makes any difference.)

Not many good ones. I got lucky getting a crossing staff last Halloween. Best advice is to go through the pvp locker then wiki the recipe of the one u like or buy a skin from trading post like super staff skin

nope, it does nothing, though it is a nice staff indeed. I wish they started treating the whole staff as a weapon rather than a top with particles and a plain ol’ stick, but since Im no longer playing staff ele I dont think this is my major concern, I barely if ever use my staff except AC for the spider part and some dungeons for might stack.

I’d like to see how it looks on a guard too before I try to get it, wonder how skill 1 looks with the dangling lamp.

You can preview the look of almost anything in the game (dyes included.)

  1. Go to the wiki and search for the item.
  2. In the blurb box on the right, there should be a Game Link. Copy it, including the square brackets [].
  3. In Guild Wars 2, whisper yourself with a pasted copy of the link. You can then secondary-click (right-click) and click Preview. (For dyes, you can preview multiple times to fill all of the slots; eliminate unwanted previews of the dye by secondary clicking on the slot and clicking Clear Preview.)
