Things Anet should prob change with DH

Spear of Justice – Unblockable, 20 second cooldown, cripple, pull, almost unavoidable, burns, renews when you kill a foe (if using Radiance Traitline) or with Renewed Focus (meditation).
- Please change so we can block this and make it slower and more noticable like revenant’s taunt. Maybe increase the recast to kitten and the pull at 120s. Make the tether last for 10s to compensate.
Shield of Courage – Blocks “all attacks” from front to side not only from projectiles but from melee attacks as well for 5 seconds (untraited) and can be renewed with reviving an ally (traited) and with Renewed Focus (meditation)
- Change Shield of Courage so it gives the DH a chance to block the next 5 attacks for the next 5 seconds. ( 7 attacks for the next 7 seconds if traited with Bulwark). Reduce cooldown from 75s to 60s to compensate.
Hunter’s Fortification – Removes conditions when blocking. Receives less dmg when the dragonhunter has no conditions.
- Please increase the recast of this trait from @1s to at least @2s preferably @ every 4 seconds. Move the “receives less dmg when DH has no conditions” and add it to “Big Game Hunter” trait’s passive effect.

Hirasaki.6208, that is what makes DH balanced, w/o the defenses it gets easilly rolled by every key spammer.
DH f3 is already EASY to counter even if they have stability…. why u want to make DH so easy to kill againts bad players?
He obviously doesn’t main Guard… terrible.

The problem with spear of justice isn’t that it is overpowered. It’s that pretty much every other pull, similar to it, are inferior. They need buffing rather than nerfing Spear of Justice.

DH is Balanced:DDDDDDD lol everyone who says that is facerolling over the keyboard and kills most ppls with 0 skill.
DH got way too much survivability combined with blocks.
They even heal up when they fart.
Don’t forget that the fart kills thfs standing miles away. Even if they’re not in the match.

Seeing as how really nothing of importance changed with DH since start of HoT, DH has been balanced compared to the rest of the classes.
But let’s forget that DH got completely shut down by Engineer and Elementalists and kitten near every other class just until last update. At least now DH’s have a fighting chance.
And I’ve been maining a Mesmer for about 3 years now and DH’s are near perfect balanced. It’s the other classes that need tweaking.

The hell is this ? the topic creator has a problem (cucu), and i’m pretty sure he/she is not a main or pure guard/DH player, those changes are right the core of the class the ’’bread and butter,, of the profession and the expansion of it, we need better changer not freaking nerf here compansete here a bit (a little or not)

Their synchronization with Engi and/or Ele on point. When there’s a class that babies Necro across the street, he’s suddently meta.

I agree, everything the op said needs a fix and rewrite because that’s not what DH needs.

Other nerfs you suggest directly change the skills themselves, not in a good and thought out way too. At this point in game they will not change any skill entirely but instead play with numbers. To touch on the skills you mentioned (note that I dont think, maybe except for Spear of Justice, any skill needs any changes):
- If they must nerf Shield of Courage they should reduce the duration of it to 3 or 4 seconds and/or remove the Aegis component from the active. Along with that they could reduce the cooldown of Virtue of Courage drastically (to 40 seconds), so vanilla is actually an alternative.
-If they must nerf Spear of Justice they should either make it blockable or a bit slower, but not both, and make the pull component actually dodgeable with 3/4 sec instead of 1/2 if its really too hard to react (but I don’t think so). Along with that they could increase the stacks of burning from Virtue of Justice active and maybe have it daze or immobilize foe on next attack (by player only).
-I don’t think Hunter’s Fortification needs a nerf and I can’t even think of a nerf. It can at most cleanse 1 condition per second if you continue to attack the DH. Your attack is blocked and he cleanses a condi – shame on him, you attack again and he cleanses again – shame on you.

Being that it’s already so close to the balance patch, we’ll get what we get.
Spear of Justice, honestly if this has to be touched, a slight reduction in either projectile speed, or cast time increase is the way to go about it. , Making it blockable makes it worthless.
I wouldn’t touch Shield of Courage, but a shave of 1 sec off of it isn’t that big of a deal.
Hunter’s Fortification is fine as is. It has a ICD of 1s meaning that duration blocks, you’ll only clear 1 condi per second of block you have potentially and it can’t clear anything unless you attack into blocks. The damage reduction is pretty much a nonexistent thing.

Necros are fine to me actually. They’re not that faceroll-y and they actually require cooperation from allies to work efficiently, which is pretty good design in my opinion.
And again a pvper QQ because they get trashed and want to see the class totally nerfed to the ground, you know because Anet still hesitates to really split pvp and pve so it would destroy pretty the hole class and not just in pvp.
Dh is balanced, it is countered by one half of the professions and is countering the other half.
