WARNING: This thread is the result of being left aside by Anet for almost 1,5 years and the pure concentration of complaints and QQ.

Well Anet first i thought that the Revenant will be a strong rival for the Guardian, but what you did with the Druid is just unacceptable. I’ve already noticed, that you care kitten about Guardians and so I tried to make some constructive Ideas in form of a pretty popular thread, but you still dont care, what people say, just watch the latest Balance Update Notes. Yet again the Guardian was the class with one of the smallest Changes in the Notes, while you buff Engis, Rangers and Wars, but its okay, that is nothing new

I have to say that I’m already playing Guild Wars since Pretty much 9 Years, I started as a Child with Guild Wars 1 and no missbalancing EVER made me so angry, that i wanted to quit this game. Well done Anet because now finally after half of my life you finally ruined my favorite game. But there is one good thing after all, I now will have plenty of time for University and my beloved Girlfriend

some people might say I’m a whiner and all this stuff, but I play pretty much Guardian since BWE1 in PVP and since like 2 years on 1v1 Servers (Greets to Distubin at this Point :] ) and I just dont have time and pleasure in getting left aside and getting my kitten beaten out of the arena, some might, but I simply dont

After the garbage elite spec that guardians are getting, it’s certainly reasonable that QQ threads would pop up frequently.

Again….prepare for the white knights to inundate this thread. OP, I feel your frustration. The power creep has passed us by at least two fold.

Our elite sucks, our elite name sucks, and are dev….well, I won’t go there.

The guardian forums have always been full of qq threads. the elite spec has nothing to do with it.

All threads here are full of QQ, in fact most threads in all MMO’s are full of QQ. The real question is whether it’s warranted. In this case, in my humble opinion, it is.

There is a reason people QQ about guardian skills

That reason is allot of them suck

Spirit weapons are quite useless with the exception of shield in some niche situations

Signet of mercy sucks & nobody in their right mind would use more then one signet at a time outside of PVE

2 out of the 4 consecrations (hollowed ground & sanctuary) suck and are not worth using.

The sword, scepter and torch all have LOS issues that have been around since beta

The new elite spec looks like it was an afterthought at best when you look at its traps and traits.

Well they fixed shield, it’s quite enjoyable now. But we waited 3 years for it, so prepare to wait 3 years for new fixes (especially DH).

We are in a good spot hype

I’ve been around with Anet since the beginning also. Considering all the changes they’ve ever made, there is really no reason to ever want to quit the game because of a balance change.

As far as QQ threads go, this isn’t the worst I’ve read. Check out the thief forum if you don’t want to have faith in humanity anymore.

What I found personally frustrating about the Dragonhunter is that, in the last weekend, we didn’t get a fraction of the updates that were listed for us. I wanted to make the DH a project and really analyze all of the different skills/traits and stuff, but I couldn’t because we were handed a beta that was already rejected.

I’m definitely making the DH one of my projects during this next weekend. I’ve got to analyze the attack rates, DPS, deployment times, trait synergy… all of it. Because right now, the DH is definitely losing in the specialization race.

I find it interesting that Ele, Thief, and Guardian currently seem to have the highest amount of QQers. I wonder what they have in common?

Same HP? hihihihhi but I K now what you mean

My theory is that because they were on the top of the game for so long, with their status falling from grace they aren’t used to ranger/necro status.

Thief has only 1 viable build in PvP, Ele has one OP build that makes everything else worthless, and Guard is slowly being replaced in a good spot.
