Has anyone else noticed? When you use Tome of Courage, if you have any protection boons applied to yourself via Hammer’s Symbol of Protection, Hold the Line utility, Virtue of Courage, the Protective Spirit spell from the Tome itself, or just any protection granted to you by your allies… when the Tome expires you lose all of your protection boon.

If you have 10 seconds of Protection and you immediately cast and drop out of the Tome, does it erase your boons? Or is the duration of the infinite Protection from the Tome simply “covering up” the expiration of the others?

Yes. This has been in the wiki for a long time.

If you are sitting in Tome, and use the skill which gives 10 seconds of protection to everyone (or if an ally gives you a protection boon) and the tome expires, you lose everything.
