Guild Wars 2

I haven’t used Tome of Wrath before, so I’m not familiar with it. I noticed today that, once launched, I can’t cancel it – I have to simply wait for it to expire (which is a pain, to put it mildly, if I didn’t actually mean to cast it). a) Has it always worked that way, b) is this a bug, or c) both?

You should be able to use the “stow weapon” button to cancel the both tomes.

If you mean the “Swap Weapons” button, then no. And there’s a “Stow Weapons” option in the Control Options interface, but it’s blank by default (and I checked, and it doesn’t cancel the tomes). But, darn it, yes, the Tome button itself becomes a “Leave Transform” button. I hadn’t spotted that. Thanks for making me take another look. I just wish the interface were even remotely consistent in the way such things work.

Don’t the kits work the same way?
And I could have sworn that stow weapon would work, though to be fair I barely ever use tomes.

Engi kits sort-of work the same, indeed, but they don’t blank out the whole of the rest of the bar. Whatever – in the end, I just needed to look harder. Thanks.
