Traps just disappearing bug?

Some enemy effects (insect swarm and creeping flame to name a few) deal damage to you but can’t be attacked by players. I find when those set off my traps, the traps simply despawn instead of waiting for an attackable target. Pocket Raptors occasionally cause them to despawn also, I think that’s completely bugged.
I have not seen this, however i know that if I dodge through your trap it causes it to miss. so maybe you only get the boons if it hits. i can’t attest for the pull but there is that.

We’re talking about mobs entering but not triggering traps and causing them to simply despawn as a result, not players dodging through them. We know that you only get the boon when the trap is triggered, the problem is that these bugged situations cause the traps to despawn when they should have been legitimately triggered.
i dropped my test of faith and procession of blades in preparation for pulling a group of pocket raptors and the vet but sometimes the traps just despawn and i didn’t take any damage and i didn’t see any NPC walk into it. They just disappeared and i did not get any boons of effects.
It could have been a bee or something but i did not notice it. However the trap definitely did not spawn .

I’ve seen Pocket Raptors do this several times, it’s annoying and unwarranted. Even random critters/rodents in the wild will fully trigger your traps, but Pocket Raptors are always 50/50.
I’ve placed traps a couple times and they didn’t go down. In particular I had a problem in one specific area in HOTs … I wonder if its a terrain problem.
