Sort of an odd question, but I’m a screen shot nut and have been wondering if there is any way to turn Aegis off? I would like to get pictures of my Guard with weapons out but without the otherwise cool Aegis visual effect getting in the way of things.

There isn’t a way to remove Aegis/Hide the effect currently.

At the moment, the only way to do it would be to get hit and have 40 seconds before it reappears (If using Virtue of Courage before getting hit, the window of opportunity will increase to 90 seconds)

I hate that aegis clips with nearly every shield and clashes with any color but blue and purple.

Please, make aegis optional, toggleable, or a skill that you trigger.

Please do not make it a default effect on every guardian

This thread comes up at least once a week, and sadly we’re no closer to it being a reality. What a lot of us hope for is that it only displays while in combat, which is very reasonable and only requires a flag rather than coding in a feature like a toggle.

I noticed the new Jade Dragon shield is one of the few that “works ok” with aegis
