Idea: A big part of the Guardian is they play as an anchor of the team, specialize in controlling areas of the battlefield.

Problem: Consecrations (minus WoR, really) are freaking useless. With the mobility that every class except us has, there is absolutely no reason why anyone would fight in the middle of Purging Flames or I Don’t Even Know The Name Of The Stability Consecration After 1000Hours On My Guardian.

Self explanatory.

Let’s make consecrations emulate out from the Guardian himself, creating either a ring of Flame or Stability, radius/range adjusted for balance, accordingly. This will not only open up consecrations for viable builds but require Guardians to position correctly to apply support/damage/etc to friends and enemies alike.

Ideas?

You know, not every skill was made for PvP. Yeah, smart players are going to leave the area of effect of spells. Duh. There’s also 90% of the rest of the game to play, and consecrations kick kitten at that. You don’t even know the name of Hallowed Ground or SANCTUARY, and you’re calling consecrations useless? You’ve never used them. Give me a break.

A moving Sanctuary centered on the Guardian would be hilarious.

I really like HG as it is atm. And purging is getting a buff next patch.

If HG was 1) instant and 2)broke stun then it would be great. Sanctuary is pretty good as is, maybe the heal could scale better. Purging is getting a nice little fix. WoR needs nothing.

I object to turning consecrations into Asuras!

Consecrations really just need reduced cool downs. More active gameplay.

No thanks to auras. I like my fire field now that I’ve finally found a LH ele to do dungeons with.

Almost every single skill from 4th to 9th slot on a guardian’s skillbars needs a cut off in CDs.

They announced over a month ago that they were planning on changing how consecrations were going to be done. A few days before the patch might be a bit late to start a thread of ideas on how to change them.
