I don’t think they will sticky it Amins. It has a “personal” name to the build and they stated they won’t do a stick because of that.

Well that’s just lame. They can remove the “personal” name from the edit. Everyone know’s who’s it is anyhow.

Yeah, that was the thread. I wasn’t sure why it was in the locked state. It was a pretty good thread I thought with some valid discussion.

I didn’t know it was slated to be a sticky – or not, based on the name bit.

It was locked on request and I think his build skills on YouTube were set to private.

Interesting read. Kind of a funny reason, but whatever. I don’t know why he couldn’t just leave the build there and let people have at it without feeling the need to answer anything. But to each their own I suppose.

Shootsfoot – yeah, it does. I didn’t see it earlier because of how the forums work when you return to a thread.

I have the build, and use it along with a AH build. I just wasn’t sure if something happened to get it locked due to a comment or fight within the thread. Since that wasn’t the case and it was at his own request, then all is good.

It was one of the better threads here on the forums I though with some good dialog. I feel bad that some people hounded him in game or otherwise.

What I think people are missing is that people were randomly contacting him in game and it wasn’t what he wanted.

I didn’t miss that. That’s why I said he could have just left the build there and not have to answer anyone. Perhaps he could have even stated not to contact him in game. I can see where it’s annoying though, especially if you ahve to constantly add someone to the blocked list.

I requested both healway and the paladin thread get stickied. I was denied saying we used too much personal opinion in the threads. What i took from that is we made something different then what they originally intended for the class. Not much you can do about it they run the place. Logic doesn’t have to make sense when you’re in control.

I don’t know why he emo’d out on the popularity. He made something good that should be encouraged. I have no problem speaking to people. I get random messages all day when I play. If I have time I respond and help someone. I do notice when I’m busy people get mad at me sometimes. But it’s all good everyone is entitled to a opinion. Maybe he is just burned out and will be back. If not good luck to him it’s been fun.

Yeah, I get people asking me questions a couple times a day. Not a big deal. Most people are respectful enough and if you just say "hey, i’m running in “x”, can you just mail me something and we can connect?"… they say sure.
