As an Engineer main, you wouldn’t get any complaints from me. Grenade Barrage shouldn’t be a 1-shot.
…Though the level of disruption that Grenadier is causing is nothing compared to people using Symbolic Avenger to kill Teq in less than 3 mins + Turret Defense phases.

Grenadier makes nades pierce and inflict damage on pass-through. I’m pretty sure that’s worth disabling Grenadier in the meantime as well.
Grenadier is also breaking gameplay atm.

I’m guessing “scheduled release” probably means Tuesday, unless they’re planning on some more fixes before the end of the week.

Given that the Engineers are seen as “Anets love child” in some portions of the community then I hope you do take the same action against the grenadier trait. It is just as broken/game breaking as this. Especially in sPvP/WvW … though spose as it isnt making the likes of tequatl “too easy” then it will be left alone.
Just glad I dont play either of these classes and that the two classes I mainly use already been post-patch nerfed at least once

Yes, disable Grenadier as well on Engineer please. At least that will tone down some of this garbage.
Fix the stacking and please revert it to 20%. Symbol builds in spvp are incredibly difficult to pull off making this very undesirable in its current state.
Maguuma is going to do an all Engineer Grenade run tomorrow to force a fix on that like we did on the symbols for Guardian if it isn’t fixed by then.

I guess this isn’t the place to ask, but as the world boss exploits were probably reason for these emergency measures, are the HP buffs Tequatl and Triple Trouble received going to be rethought? The other world bosses are simply slow now, but surely it can’t be intended for the failure rate to be so high. And it’s going to be even higher without guardian damage to compensate.

The World bosses were part of it, but I think the main reason was the fact that this trait allowed for WvW Gates to be destroyed in about 5-10 seconds without Rams. I think that is a larger issue than killing a world boss that would already die, being killed faster.
Pls disable necro’s Mark of Evasion as well until it works only in combat

The fix is either 2 months away, or they will just change it to completely useless.
Can you disable the world boss hp buff too. since we are on the topic of things implemented but not tested.
It kind of sucks that they disable the trait rather than fix it considering there are no other useful grandmaster traits in the zeal line.

lolno, if it simply was a matter of wvw abuse, it wouldn’t have been patched this quickly, anything that threatens PvE land gets auto hotfixed however.
On a lighter note, Miss Gaile, are they looking into “Feel My Belch”? Having a tremendous BUUURRRP rip through the air during a crucial fight is a little startling, even for a charrdian.
I’m glad, we liked it for dungeons, but it is destroying WvW and purely ruining any true competitive game play.

Why not remove the root of the problem? Why not remove all skills, traits, mechanic etc… that are responsible for the problem instead of
fixing them? From my investigation report, fixing problems is not taking serious action but removing the problem is.

I’ve already seen a few 5 man engi groups in spvp trying to get attention, but it seems that is not enough yet.
I’d love to see this vid BTW, make sure everyone runs kinetic battery and dodges something before using

Wow, you make it sound like you guys DIDN’T KNOW this thing is bugged…really guys?
Its not bugged. That’s why they “missed it”. Its unintended/unexpected behavior because their in-house team is both too small and not sufficiently weasel-ish to properly detect and report easily exploitable behaviors in groups larger than 5. Like most companies they lack HOSTILE testers whose soul job is to break the system rather than to provide rubber-stamp validation it doesn’t crash when used in the most obvious and pedestrian fashion.
Though “players might want to drop overlapping buff fields” is pretty obvious…
Given that multiple sources of Battle Presence don’t grant multiple stack sof HoT, I’m pretty sure they can lock this down to one buff no matter how many sources pretty quickly. The switches are already in place.

Prettty Pleeaassee re-enable this trait…. it has been the single most fun I’ve had in dungeons and fractals for quite some time. At least have it enabled while the Grenadier trait is still bugged.. I think the two counter each other quite in the competetive aspects of the game… why not let us all have some fun with these whacky bugs…
Thank you, that I made ascended mace 3 days ago just for nothing, because it’s useless without Symbolic Avenger. I agree that bonus sharing must be fixed, but this is just lazy solution. I hope you will fix it very quickly.
You should finally start to do regular testing before you release anything. These problems are not like players’ HW issues, these are basic in-game mechanic problems which should be found before release.
