[Video Guide] Guardian DPS build - Jebro
Game play video:

Sorry to say this man but you were carried hard in this gameplay video.
What I saw is that you don’t seem to know how to land your bursts on the enemy. Also you play slow. You are not using focus 5 in any encounter offensively, you only use it for blocks and not even to block high dmg attacks. As a dps guard that’s one of your biggest dmg source as it can do 5k dmg easily (well with berserker amulet). Also you can’t really set up a Whirling Wrath burst and you use Judge’s intervention most of the times to cause only burning (even if your dmg works wonders with that because of the runes but it is wasted only like that). Judge is an awesome ability with what you can setup focus 5 or/and WW bursts on your enemies. Personally I don’t like scepter as in team fights you have the warrior and bunker guard for cc (well you didn’t have them here so it is fine to take scepter to have a little cc). My personal choice would be to use berserker amulet as your dmg really sucks with celestial or if you want to have more survivalability try out the 2nd build that i wrote down after this
I would leave these builds here that I think are much better so you can look at it:

After the April Update this build has come completely from last position to first, the GS2 lands with rage sigils making it an AoE, undodgable machine. This will be your first meditation build and best in most situations. Optionals: Mc>Sw if playing against a thief assaulting your backpoint. Sc>Sw if your team lacks control.
Personally I like this build a lot. So much burst that if you surprise enemies, like coming a bit later to the team fights, you can do pretty much almost a 100%-0% burst on enemies. Survivalability comes from dodges, blocks and blinds
And the other one: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/guardian/Empowering-Wrath-6-DPS-Build-Stella-Alamarr/first
There are more builds here but I really like the M/F, GS build in this one with the symbols. You can pretty much hold points as if ppl stay on point they just melt thanks to the symbols and your dmg. Bit more survivalability and if you play your cards right you won’t lose to attrition like most of the other dps guard builds.

Well I do always say Im a mediocre player and that I do find it tough to do the builds justice. But people always asking for game play. Id say go ahead and give me a great video to go alongside it if you cared to make one at all?
yo jebro, gemcaster here:)
you problaby know i run a similar build:P i think you have a good start but you miss the key dps output in ur build: burn. the power of celestial + 33% burn dmg from the zeal trait amplified wrath will make you burn for like 700 whitout any might. (so 62600)
so now we have a very high burn damage. if you rewatch ur gameplay video, you can see you only burn every now and then which is not enough to count it as a good dps output.
my suggestion: burn on block. drop the fury on meditation and use burn on block. doing a 700-800 dmg each block.
as for rune, i like to use balthazar. it gives me extra burn duration + condi dmg + 5 sec burn aoe when i heal. also the quickness is usefull sometimes.
because my burn does high dmg, i swapped out contemplation for purging flames. yes its not instant and doesnt heal, but once you know how to use it well its awsome. 8.5 sec burn each time they pass the ring, 3 condi removed (AOE!) fire field(!) and reduce condi’s by 33%.
i like to run with hammer becuase of the combo with sigil of intel, i still burst for 6-8k with only 1650 attack. if you run greatsword keep in mind that binding blades does 300 dmg for 10 sec long which cant be cleansed

That’s similar to what I run but I use Carrion so that when I gain Might from blocking the burn tics get up to 900+ in addition to having Sigils of Doom. I also run Scepter/Focus with GS because that S/F combo triggers virtue of justice almost 3 times on average. I have a “burning” dislike for Thieves so this build pretty much destroys most of them.
Old Man Burr (War), Bad Hat Ben (Engi), Manly Manny Manson (Guard)
i dont like carrion, no crits and low toughness. imo celestial is perfect for this build.

I’m not going to invest/become attached to a gear set which is currently imbalanced and may get changed. Adding extra stats to make up for the Ferocity change was a terrible idea and makes Celestial way stronger than it should be.
