Virtue build
It would be useful to know your traits, utilities and goals for your build.
I’d go with 0/0/10/30/30 so you can get pure of voice. Shouts, honor and virtues go hand in hand.
I was being careful losing to much toughness, but you make a good point.

what is the main purpose of this build? : ))
i have a personal threashold for healing power that is has to be close to 700 – 1k for me to deliberately invest into it. though it still scales well with dodge roll heals so that’s not bad.
one major thing though, you’re not using any meditations? so perhaps switch up the Valor Major traits. unless if it was a mistake. then either go for Defender’s Flame (but then i would switch your heal to Shelter), Purity (if conditions worry you) or Retributive Armor.
—> then on the point with switching the heal to Shelter, i only use the Signet heal when i have at least 10 invested in Radiance for the shorter cooldown. but again, that’s just me. the big heal is super nice, but on a slightly longer cooldown. toss it up with the 2s block and heal on a shorter CD.
Unscathed Contender in the virtues line i think is good for initial burst, since we don’t have reliable ways of reapplying Aegis THAT often. and a good player in WvW will use ranged auto attacks to get rid of your aegis first most of the time anyways if you don’t spot them first. so i may or may not change that, again, depending on your goal for t his build. it’s damage is decent but doesn’t seem to be a lot of burst potential so perhaps you can further buff Consecrations. or two other really nice traits in the Virtues line is Absolute Resolution, buffed passive VoR and removes 3 conditions AoE when activated. and Indomitable Courage, VoC also gives stability when activated. argubly, these are more effective and called for in WvW though.
just some thoughts and hope these help a bit.
i think 3188 armor is more than enough as well. especially with Signet of Judgment if you decide to keep it. : ))
[edit: oops, fixed some mistakes!]
Akaigi | Warrior Made of Wood
[CDS] – Sanctum of Rall
Well I have to admit, when I started playing, I went simple. A guardian, with heavy armor, power, vitality and toughness…well that was basic enough for me to understand and get into the game. Now that I have learned more about the game such as might, and conditions, I thought maybe there was more to the guardian.
This game has so many different variable depending on what traits , skill, and stats you have on item you carry. Nice aspect of the game, but a kittenallenging finding some great combos IMO.
So that is why I tried this build. Figured a plain ol’ tank was…as it sounds. Maybe I am wrong and should concentrate on a solid toughness and power hungry guardian. I don’t know.
Thanks for your help.
BTW…I don’t know why I see it saying kittenallenging up there.
