Guild Wars 2

I’ve run CoF 1 twice the past two days on my guardian. I run an AH variant with Staff + Hammer. Both times when I got to the final fight, I found once combat had started I couldn’t weapon swap till the fight ended. The other Guardian in my group last night had the same thing happen.

I /bug reported it, but is this a known bug and are there any workarounds?

Go into hero panel and switch with the arrows there. After doing it once it is fixed until it happens again in the future.

Had the same bug on guardian, warrior and thief.

I also had the same issue the other day at the CoF P1 boss. I figured it was just a fluke, but apparently other people are running into it too. Fortunately, like Rookni said, the hero panel manual swap fixes it, so there’s at least a workaround until Anet can address it.

It’s not only a guardian thing. It usually happens when weapon swap is on cooldown during a cutscene. As the others have said, you can work around it by clicking the swap button on the hero panel. If it really bothers you, try to avoid having a weapon swap cooldown when you know a cutscene is coming.
