What I feel with the Guardian
So you made a thread to say that Guardians are bad in WvWvW? Couldn’t you just state that in one of the threads about WvWvW?
I find Guardians to be OP in wvw. That’s the beauty of opinions, everyones is different. Go for a survivability, control, retribution build and you can really eat up a zerg.

You really find the too strong in WvWvW? Or are just proving a point?
Yes, I did several buildings, but the point I’m getting at is that today, in my view, the melees that can not be invisible, as the Guardian and Warrior not really enjoy your function, different from what I saw in Beta.
I do not want to start a “fight” for who knows or does not play, it’s just an opinion of mine and some friends.
How is playing the Guardian different from beta? Most changes made since then are actually improvements to the profession.

The Guardian swings between being capable of soaking the damage of an entire zerg while almost doubling the effectiveness of its allies to being totally useless, depending on its trait combination.
Someone who has figured out some of the good trait combos will, quite simply, be OP in WvWvW. They can push forward and hold the enemies attention while turning their buddies into rock-hard killing machines.
Someone who goes in with a standard PvE/sPvP build will think the class is terrible, not realising its their build that is terrible. They will not have the resilience to get stuck into melee and will sit on keep walls thinking the Guardian needs some sort of ranged buff.
So yes, given that a guardian must be judged on the best output that its traits can produce, the Guardian currently IS too good at WvWvW. This is counterbalanced by most Guardian players still being a bit inexperienced, or just plain terrible.

I don’t have much of a problem blasting Guardians with other classes in WvW. Never seen a single one that made the impression of being OP.
I think Guardians shine in spvp and they’re terrible in large scale WvW, but do well in a coordinated group and in 1vs1 situations. Care to make a detailed posting about the infamous WvW OP build and explain why the Guardian is OP in WvW?
Why do people insist on turning every WvW match into zergfests? Sure, sieges turn out that way, but then it’s just a matter of people being team-players and letting guardians have first go at siege weaponry. Otherwise, it’s just as well to stand behind the gate and make sure whatever is on the other side won’t attack unscathed.
But seriously: get a raiding party together every time you go to WvW. It levels the playing field to something the Guardian is much more effective at (relatively speaking, of course), and it gives you tooooons of rewards. As in, several thousand karma, 100k XP, and a lot of silver for a little bit of time invested. Don’t zerg, play smart.
Furthermore, you’ve obviously never had to control a bridge before, as four or five guardians can fend off a zerg for a long time. The guardian class forces people to play much smarter in WvW than most are accustomed to, while also forcing you to simply run away when the tide shifts in your enemy’s favor. Whether you run a spirit weapons, meditation, shout, retaliation, burning, or whatever build, as a guardian you should be able to shine: be it siege or raiding.
TL, DR: Raid, you’ll be much happier.
