What about other specializations?
Nothing, because specs of other classes are not at all playing similar roles to secondary professions.

Agreed they’re not, but anyway there are skills that seems inspired by, like the pull from the Reaper on the video looks pretty much like Binding Blade (at least works like), I was refering to that not to playing other profession roles (even when DH apparently resembles a lot to a Ranger).
Based on the Dra ahem Seeker cough that will be GW2’s kind of a super righteous Witch Hunter firing holy arrows at everyones knees to purge every foe that deserves punishment in their eyes of relentless justice, I can see and just hope for it, that other Guardian Specializations will be in the distant future professions like
Zeal = Seeker = Longbow = Holy Arrows seeking for Justice, hunting down anyone that deserves punishment, searchign for truth and bringing right and order back to Tyria. Exterminating all the guilty people that have commited sins or any evil threats of Tyria that needs to be erased and wiped out for good, be it Dragons, Demons or mere Criminals
Radiance = Dragoon = Halberd = Draconic Knights with Wings of Resolve, which fight with various kinds of Polearms, be it Spears, be it Halberds, be it Lances.
Their radiance gives them faith to perform with their wings of light mighty Sky Jumps to perform powerful Jump Attacks to bring soarign devastation to the places where they crush into an enemy on impact, being that way a very mobile profession that can operate very quickly
Valor = Warden = Main Hand Shield with the ability to use the “Life Manteau”, which is a counterpart of the Death Shroud, allowing it the Warden to get a special Holy Aura which protects the Life of the Warden and changes the Weapon Skill Bar.
Honor = Crusader = Warhorn and Banners which work diffently from Warrior Banners, instead of giving Stat Boosts, they give permanent Boon Zones
Virtues = Inquisitor = Offhand Sword and Mantras ,that allow them to perform instantly “Seals” that remove Boons/Conditions on demand, while being also more mobile for the cost of being self not anymore as much as boon heavy like the Guardian in general and not anymore as defensive, like especially a Shield Guardian, but therefore more melee offensive with fatal counterattacks by parrying attacks with the offhand sword.
thats what I personally hope for Guardians to receive, if my prediction is right, that Naet plans on giving each Profession later 5 Elite Specializations, basically 1 per Core Specialization, so that we would end up later with 9 Main Professions at a total amount of 45 Elite Specializations

An immediate problem you run into is a character can have only one Elite specialization line – it MUST go into the 3rd slot. So if they’re all elite you have noting left to fill the first two rows.
Now you could make an argument for whatever/anything you place in the third slot gives you an extra something in that theme, but you’d still have to be really careful explaining it to players.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

Selling new weapons as an elite specialization is bad game design. So it will reworked again so it fits with other sub professions or you will only ever have access to one. We will see.
Why is that bad game design exactly?
