Hey all, I need some advice on which build would be best to re live the warrior priest from warhammer. They are my favourite Warhammer classes and i think the guardian is closest to one BUT whats the best build do you think?

I was thinking 20 – 30 virtues, 20 – 30 valour, im not soo sure :/ Help would be apprectiated

Well since WP is quite unique there isnt any class that would give feeling like playing WP. Also healing skills are not good in scaling. For example healing on hit with greatsword gives you 26 hp and it does not scale at all. In my opinion i would go (dont mind the gear):

*Just to add, 10 from radiance could be given to honour for 2hander mastery.

Also 1000-1200 healing power is nice to have for this.
So dont know what feeling of WP playstile you would like, but for me thats closest thing i could get for it (doing dps while some healing).
(other healing abilities have poor healing numbers even with much healing power stat)

Pure of Voice + Runes of Soldier easily outweigh Renewed Justice and Virtues.

From what i remember of warpriest, and not going to lie its been YEARS, guardian can play simular to it but its going to take a slightly different build to what your using. Emapudapus nailed it pritty much on the head with his builds. But heres a shout variation if thats more your thing since theres some very useful shout skill’s.

The one thing i would shoot for is some crit chance as thats whats going to make any of these build’s work.

I included a mace/focus set as if you really want to upset mobs the raw healing that build with those weapons gives you as a solo will carry you for quite some time.

You’ve made me nostalgic about my WP now.
I might have to reroll my Guardian and make him bald with a goatee!
Come to think of it I also miss my bright wizard and my dwarf with an orange mohawk

IMO if you want to recreate the WP feel this is how you do it. Granted it might not be at maximum efficiency like other builds people are showing you here, but I use it for PvE and it works great.

Go full Valor and get Monk’s focus (mediations heal you). The first two traits are really your choice but I would take the ones that help mediations.

Go full Honor and get all the ones that make symbols better.

The other 10 points are your choice. Now use a Mace as your primary weapon. You can use any offhand you want depending on what you like. Then use Judges Intervention and Smite Condition. The last utility skill is your choice as well. It’s no where near as awesome as the WP was, but I find it enjoyable.
