What do you want to change in Guardian?
A) Change the skill 3 of the sword and make me able to hit the enemy whit the right range and whit all the skills hit.
B) Increase the speed of the scepter skill 1 (the orb), making me able to hit the enemy when it move.
C) Give to the Guardian some mote Combo Finisher. If I don’t use GS or Hammer, I’ve not finisher skills. Sword, Mace, Scepter, Staff and Shield don’t give me Combo Finisher, and the Focus skill 5 give me the Blast Finisher, but only if it don’t break. That make hard the choice of create a 1h build, if you’re not a healer build guardian.
1. Make Spirit weapons immune to damage but less powerful;
2. Reduce CD on shield`s skills and rewamp Shield Absorption to work like Sanctuary;
3. Add symbols to sword and scepter weapon skills.
1-2. Because this is such a big request, and really wanted – Changes to support a condition focused Guardian, such as more conditions – even if they’re only accessible through traits

Fix Permeating Wrath to either do an area around the opponent and further increase the damage of activated Justice, or just change it to a constant local emission of flame from you character on activation (still grants the burn attack to allies but you get a ring of constant burn damage around you for several seconds instead of the usual boost.) Actually those are just ideas but something done with Permeating Wrath.
1) Fix Weapons
2) Lower cooldowns on a lot of insane cooldown abilities
3) Fix trait lines
Nearly every part of this class needs to be re-worked. Unless you run shouts only and never swap out of staff while you are zerging around that is

Alright, I’ll bite:
1. Make passive Virtues worthwhile. I want to feel the pain of making it active over keeping it passive, because right now there’s no need to keep them passive. This needs to change.
2. Make Zealous Blade heal better whether it be a high HP percentage or work with Power instead.
3. Give us a 4th Virtue. No clue on what though, passive and active Chill attack similar to VoJ?
I’ll be as specific as possible.
1. Make Smite (#2 on scepter) a symbol.
It just makes sense. The scepter’s traits are in the Zeal line where all the symbol damage traits are. Smite’s damage is too unreliable, just make it a per second tick.
2. Make the Guardian’s blue flames a separate condition.
Whenever we apply burning, if the target is already burning, we apply [insert new condition]. This way only guardians can stack burning and our burning builds become a whole lot more interesting and effective.
3. Make Shield of Absorption reduce AOE projectile damage. (Meteor Shower, Barrage, Volley)
It currently just ignores them. It’s just stupid that Barrage and Volley are completely unaffected by it.
4. Either speed up the scepter’s orbs or give the Guardian a low damage longbow.
Against moving targets at a distance farther than 600, I’d rather have lower consistent damage, than no damage at all.

A: Make meditations have a cast time, but buff their effects. Instant cast skills and skills without a readable animation are terrible, no matter how powerful or useless they are.
B: Buff perfect inscription’s effect.
C: Cut the cooldown of glacial heart in half, increase it’s damage, and turn it into an aoe that has a one second delay so people can see and react to it.
Honestly, just give us what the “fake” patch notes were planning. But anyways,
A) make cleansing flames remove conditions on us. One of our sore spots is the lack of condition removal on dps builds, this alone will open up some options.
B) give us soft CC. Snare on symbol has been asked for since forever.
C) condition options, adding torment on crit to radiance and switching something like shattered aegis to adding a few bleed stacks would give us pretty much all we need along with the new sigil changes. (could get more bleeds, or poison, or aoe torment.
Bonus: fix the kitten ed trait lines, why do we have condition damage tied to radiance when there are only 2 very horrible condition traits that only apply 1 non stacking condition. Also, kindled zeal is a joke of a trait for conditions, as the amount of poer required to make it decent is wasted without any crit or crit damage. There is no hybrid possibility for us even with that trait.

b) – make shield actually a decent choice. ( by removing CDs and either removing root from skill 5 or making it reflect projectiles/making it absorb ALL damage not just projectiles.
c) – remove valor 15 ( courageous return) it is an insult not a trait.
put might of the protector instead and put t something like: aegis grant 5 seconds of protection on removal on the 25 points minor.

A) Condition damage guardian, whether through unique conditions, more condition coverage, or through traiting our burns
B) Buff shield (lowering cooldowns, adding aegis to 4, etc.)
C) Lower cooldown on scepter 3, or rework it so that it’s a more interesting skill
A) Buff shield skills. Reduce the CD and give #4 skill a daze/stun. The #5 skill should not root the Guardian, also increase the healing.
B) Change the visual effect for Aegis, it clips with too many shields out there.
C) Sword skill #1 chain needs to be fixed, the last attack of the chain Sword Wave still sometimes doesn’t damage objects or goes through enemies. Sword #3 skill should not root you.
I want a +25% movement speed trait

A) Give sword wave better tracking, and make it an actual melee attack and not a projectile. (You can reflect it with feedback if you’re standing inside it.

I’m not very experienced with Guardians, but one thing I’d like is shorter cooldown or longer duration on their Tome elite skills.
A) Add Bleed, Torment and vulnerability to some extents
B) add might buffs to other skills other than scepter
C) Add another Virtue
Overall Guard has more than good DPS but I’d like to be able to see better dmg output and a more consistent and sustainable way to buff yourself up to keep up on pugs
A higher base health
B better access to fury
C better power and precision grandmaster traits
A. Lower Tome elite cooldowns.
B. Tome utility skills and traits to match.
C. Lower cooldown on staff’s Orb of Light detonation, and/or a longer range on Wave of Wrath.

1. Slightly higher base hp. Yes I know the whole guardians would be OP with more health arguement. Yes I know we have aegisandblocks/blindspams/renewedfocus to keep us alive, but having 10k base health leaves literally no room for error. I’m not asking for kittening warrior 20k base health or anything and I would honestly be happy with the next highest base hp tier, which I don’t know off the top of my head. 10k base hp is just too low in my opinion.
2. Split Zealous Blades into two traits, one for gs damage and one for sustainability. Trying to balance damage and healing in a single trait makes it underwhelming at both while becoming OP once it’s buffed to be efficient at either. Remove the heal on hit, bump the damage increase to 10% like the radiance line X for swords is, and drop one of the many traits that honestly no guardian would ever be using for a sustain/heal-type trait.
3. Maybe add access to another damaging condition besides burning if anet wants condi damage guardian to be viable. Maybe bleeding? I dunno. One single damaging condition is too easily removed.

You got more or less 24 replies. How does that not qualify for interest?
I am quite happy with many of the rumoured upcoming changes but there are some fundamental flaws to Guardian.
1. Higher base health. This would allow more diverse builds. TBH the game would immediately balance better if everyone had medium health. While I would not describe Guardian as squishy, I never feel overly tanky no matter what spec I run. Nor do I feel in most situations that I can spec for the same dps as a Warrior. You just can not get very creative when in most situations you have to pump a sizable portion of your stat points into health.
2. Virtues. I have seen some awesome suggestions over time for how to rework Virtues so they are more impressive when activated.
3. Movement Speed Signet.
