What is the current guardian meta?
All three of those are viable, and each has it’s own strengths and weaknesses.
0/0/30/30/10- Least amount of support, however it has the most sustain thanks to AH and the extra toughness.
0/0/10/30/30- Most amount of support , however it can be difficult to recover from large burst. Since it lacks AH and the extra toughness.
0/0/20/30/20- Pretty much the middle ground between the two.
Heavens Rage
0/0/10/30/30 with sentinels ascended armor, PVT trinkets, applied fortitude and vitality infusions gets you to almost 27k hp with 3200 armor (150 from SIN) if your using Hammer + hold the line your good for protection too. Burst isnt an issue your party shold compensate for this with water fields since this is a party build.

Try this 0 0 30 20 20. Soldiers armor and runes knights for all trinkets. Staff/hammer. (I use sentinels weapons) then run save yourselves stand your ground contemplation of purity (purging flames can be switched in situationally.) And renewed focus. This gives u the most sustainability, damage, and group condi removal support you can have together. And you can argue that it gives more since u basically have to afk to die in a zerg fight

Please don’t ever recommend that to anyone.
0/0/30/30/10 GS/Staff is the most common build and should form the backbone of any organized group. 0/0/10/30/30 is very specialized (I prefer 0/0/20/20/30) and typically runs Mace/Shield + Staff with high healing power. 0/0/30/20/20 is a hybrid typically taken for the secondary stab access, but it’s a bit training wheels for me.
As for gearing, it’ll depend on the build. For a 0/0/30/30/10 build the most rudimentary, un-optimized build I recommend is this. If you feel like tinkering, you can drop vitality and move pieces around/use different stat distribs in different pieces to eek out 10% more crit damage and ~100 more power. If you wanted to go with a 0/0/30/20/20 build you would need to add ~50 more toughness from gear (swapping a couple armor pieces to Knight’s would do the trick).

I’m assuming this is for PVP cause all the builds I’ve seen put up so far are crap for PVE. Putting points into toughness tree for PVE is an utter waste and you might as well just 4 man dungeons without that guard cause he is contributing next to nothing. Better off with a nice dps hammer build with perma protection. Something like a 15/15/0/20/20 or of you are comfortable with purging flames, just run a 25/15/0/20/10. Both of those builds will give you great dps, perma group protection and enough condi cleanse for most stuff in PVE of course.
Am I legendary yet!?

I read the whole thing. The part I wasn’t clear on was the “skill group” part. If he meant dungeon runs since I don’t really understand what a skill group would be in PVP unless he’s talking team PVP. Regardless, like I said in the first sentence of my post, I’m assuming he means purely from a 100% PVP standpoint since like I said, any of these builds listed are pretty crappy for PVE.

even so, 15/25/0/20/10 is superior to 25/15/0/20/10 because the 25 radiance modifier affects every one of your DPS skills and has better uptime. 15/25 is also more adaptable into a sword mh build when the situation calls for it.
Don’t make this into a pve debate, (even though 15,25 is better), the question was WVW
The current Guardian meta is play a Warrior.

Are you blind? He said WvW and you bring the crappy PvE Meta. Go with that to WvW and lets see how well you will do it
I would say for WvW there isn’t really a meta, is up to personal preference. I often play in Zerg and sometimes I command too (very little yet, Idk about the future) so I run the classic AH 0/0/30/30/10, but sometimes I take out 5 in Virtues and use it in Radiance, it depends. I run with cleric armor and weapons and soldiers Trinkets, with Knight Amulet and 1 ring.
0 5 30 30 5 lmao
with good amounts of zerk

I sometimes run the meta with a mix of zerk and valk in wvw instead of zerk (which is my pve/dungeon set), and it works ok for roaming, yak killing, taking camps, and fighting at the edges of zergs. Its not optimal by any means but it has good damage, and enough survival for what I’m expecting. Going full AH clerics/soldier is a no damage pure survival build so its pretty limited to zerg/commanding. IIRC the meditation build is more suited for roaming/camp capping than the pve meta or the AH build.
In our group we usually take the standard 0/0/30/30/10 with Soldier Armor/Weapons, Divinity Runes, 3 Berserker Trinkets and 3 Cavalier trinkets. This give us about
3200 Armor,
18k Hp,
1900 Power,
20% Crit Chance,
86% Crits Dmg
At this point we usually use offensive sigil, oil and food.
It depends on your guilds party setup. If you run melandru, soldiers or boon duration, if you are in a double or triple guardian party etc.
However, 30-30-10 gs/staff is the most commonly seen build (as was pointed out already). Depending on your guilds playstyle hammer or gs are the standard weapons.
5-30-30-5 is another variant.
30-20-20 gs/staff just means you use one or two consecrations instead of tripple shout.
20-30-20, 10-30-30 have both the same issue of losing ah which is a major part of the survivability. Since you usually use m/f- staff for it you’ll have a hard time surviving proper bursts anyway. 30-20-20 with ~1k hp is the build i’d recommend for clerics.
For roaming or small scale there’s a lot more variations.
