Guild Wars 2

Was looking into making a guardian and was just wondering if they are a good choice for dps in Pve or if I should use it as a tank. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Guardian is(I think) the 3rd highest power DPS after ele and thief but has a lot more survivability in comparison than either. Plenty of blocks, a second healing skill, higher base armor etc. Tbh, guardian can cover a tank-role as well, but is not the best at it.

This will do the most damage, you can change scepter for sword if you prefer that. Torch can be replaced too for focus, but replace radiance traitline for virtues and take “unscathed contender”, “absolute resolution” and “indomitable courage” traits then. Or if like to run scepter/sword-x you can replace “zealous blade” for “kindled zeal” in zeal traitline.
