Guild Wars 2

I am a level 80 Guardian that is basically the tanky type in the group. When we are doing dungeons, im trying to go with as much Vit-toughness-healing as i can. I am using a 1hand mace and shield combo with 2 hand greatsword or a scepter and focus combo for range fights. Should i change anything on this, look for different armor etc. even build Ideas for making a Guardian a true PVE type “tank” .

You may want to consider using a Mace/Focus. While the shield has a nice knockback, and if traited, gives you some extra toughness, the Focus will allow you to AoE blind, AoE Regen, and give you a shield that will deflect 3 attacks.

Also do not forget the Sword, it has a Blind attack on a 10 second cooldown, which when combined with multiple Aegis boons can give you a lot of defensive power.

I personally go with a Vitality/Toughness/Condition Damage build, but I can see using Healing instead to great purpose.
