Zeal:
I Immobilizing a foe also applies vulnerability to them. (only 2 immobilize in entire class)
V When an aegis you applied is removed, it burns nearby foes.(2 second birr is Op)
VII Greatsword damage is increased by 5%.(weak) no good benefit a Stijl can do the same thing
XI Scepter damage is increased by 5%.(weak) same as VII
XII Greatsword attacks heal you. (35 heal so weak compare to AH)
Radiance:
I Gain 3 seconds of retaliation when using a heal skill.
(Dose prey much the same thing as
Retaliatory Subconsciou( Gain 3 seconds of retaliation whenever you are dazed, stunned, knocked down, knocked back, or feared. (30 second recharge))
(minimum cd on heal is 30sec)
XII Signet passive effects are improved. (1 extra condition removal per 10 seconds same as purity, +2% less damaged and ext. just stupid weak)
Valor:
VII Mace damage is increased by 5%. Same as GS and scepter
VII Critical hits with a hammer have a 50% chance to chill your target for 4 seconds. This effect can only occur once every 45 seconds.(hell of a cold down)

Tell me your list and how much these traits suck.
Are you new to the guardian class? Just curious….
- 3 Imobilizes: Signet, Hammer, Scepter.
- 3 Applications of Aegis, to an entire group, which then converts to grp Bruning.
- 5% is 5%. Not weak.
- 5% is 5%… scepter on a zerker/scholar build can crit for 2.6k an orb… w/o the initial 5% dmg bonus….
- XII, when used in coincidence of all the other small heals you get, adds up. It’s not a stand alone ability…. duh. The sum of it’s parts.. u know..
- 3s per heal… fair enough =]
- You’re right 3 conditons removed every 10s is weak…
- 5% is 5%.
- 4s chill is pretty nice… though it is a long cooldown.
- XII Stun Breakers rule WvW/PvP, as we can run around with -65% condition duration but only -25% stun duration…. have you seen a warrior spec’d for stun damage?
Perfect Inscriptions is an extra +5% damage reduction on Signet of Judgment. It’s actually quite strong.
Beyond the obviously crappy traits, I wish AH would go. I’m not saying it’s a bad trait or that some people don’t genuinely need it, but too many people crutch on it even when they’re good enough to move on. They simply don’t realize there are better options.

The only trait I hate is Writ of Exaltation.
Due to how necessary it is to reliably get multiple hits of symbols out in PvP/WvW whilst also being in a tree with other really strong traits (Superior Aria, Empowering Might, Two-Handed Mastery and Pure of Voice for example)

I’ve done few tests and haven’t seen it working, unlike in hotm where it was granting ~15% damage reduction.
Retaliatory Subconscious – 3s of Retaliation when CCd (30s c/d).
Healers Retribution – 3 of Retaliation when using a Heal skill (30s+ c/d).
Wrathful Spirit – 3s of Retaliation when Aegis ends.
Too much Retaliation everywhere!
Searing Flames – Uncontrollable, and too infrequent to help.
Pure of Heart – Nice idea, but the first time Aegis is removed it’s not gonna heal, as you will normally be at full hp blocking the initial attack….
Symbolic Power – Seems to be a 5% increase, for 25pts… horribad.
Bring back some of the traits from beta like ~
25% increased critical rate for Symbols.
Consecrations do damage to foes that touch them.
And replace Smite on the Scepter with Symbol of Courage, real AoE damage, 5 pulses of 1s Might. Synergy with existing traits and builds.
You can even keep the flying hands effect, just change it so a larger hand flies in from a different direction once a second to represent the 5 pulses of damage and might
